My room didn't have a mini refrigerator. (Not all rooms have refridges) To be fair, I was told later that I could request one if needed, but who wants to go through the hassle of waiting for it to get cold.. just an inconvenience. The room was spacious, but the decor and layout of my room was blah, think Ikea/target modern and for being such a nice hotel, I could see patch and paint work that made it feel like the section 8 portion of hotel. Also the rooms are advertised as being "sound proof" when in fact you can actually hear everything around you outside of said room. Not sure what "soundproof" is defined as being here. On top of all that, they don't have an onsite parking lot, you need pay to park in a nearby garage... All that said, I'd give it another try just because its within walking distance of decent bars/restaurants.

We stayed here for one night in October. We booked ahead via the Hilton app and were upgraded to a suite upon check-in. The front desk attendant was professional and courteous. The suite was clean and spacious. It really was huge. It could have been an apartment there was so much room and living space. There was no carpet anywhere except a rug under the bed. This is a unique boutique location and was giving garage/basement vibes with the floor and decor in the living area. The walls and furniture were dark. You can see from my pics - even the shower was black. It felt some what cold, but at least sterile. There was a big light above the bed. I laid down and felt like I was about to have surgery or a doctor’s exam with that light on. I wouldn’t describe the room as cozy at all. I, myself, prefer a softer feel, but this was fine for the night. There was a bar/restaurant down by the lobby. There was a DJ playing music. We stopped in for a drink but didn’t stay too long - it was pretty crowded and there weren’t many comfortable looking places to sit. I believe there was a private event happening since they had some buffet stations open on the side where breakfast was the next morning. There was a sign in the elevator for a rooftop bar but the elevator would not take us up to that floor. Speaking of breakfast, that was good. It was $14/person for the buffet which wasn’t included. The breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful. Parking was a garage that is next door. There’s no clear signage directing to the hotel from there but we figured it out. I believe parking was also $14/day. The style of this property wasn’t my favorite but outside of that, our stay was good and the service met our expectations.

So this place was by the train station was a minor inconvenience with noise. Also rooms had heavy chemical cleaner smell. I dont see how this place is 4star. It definitly is 1-2... maybe. I requested to cancel with in 5 five seconds of seeing the room. I explained im commg with kids and hearing the humping next door the train the dark appointed unventilated room... spoke to front destk and manager which were condescendingly polite forcing me to stay 3nights with kids in this dump. They could have cancelled and refunded no one went in the room besides me and manager and she would not let me leave. Either loose 500 bucks that i booked what was listed as 4star and clearly is not or stay miserable. Will never book here and discourage anyone else who wants a nice quiet Peaceful sleep and is expecting a 3 or 4 star hotel to not stay.

I was surprised given that I have been a Hilton honor gold for a couple years now but when I asked about an upgrade which I am entitled to I was told but a lady that they do not upgrade people who stay more than one night. Then I get to my room and it is very dated with no fridge or microwave. The furniture was all scratched up and paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling. Plus even at full hot water the shower get Luke warm at best. The only shining light was the front counter guy with the dreads. He was always pleasant and fun.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and have always had a pleasant experience. I usually check in after work and, even when the hotel has been sold out the night before, the front desk staff has gone out of their way to coordinate with housekeeping and accommodate an early check-in for an additional fee. However, this time was completely different. When I arrived today, the woman at the front desk was abrupt and dismissive. Instead of taking my information or trying to find a solution like the staff normally does, she simply said they were sold out and made no effort to help. It was disappointing, especially since I’ve been a loyal guest and have come to expect the great service this hotel is known for. Customer service and tone make a huge difference—today’s interaction definitely fell short of the standard I’ve come to appreciate here.
