    Would only return if i had to. Usually stay up the road at another Hilton. Thought Hilton = Hilton. On the plus side it is quiet,spacious, and cost less. Breakfast was not what I'm used to towels in the room were small could not cover my body and when we went to get more we were only able to get one after waiting an hour.

    My daughter and I had a horrible stay at this hotel!! My daughter woke up after the first night with bug bites all over her arm and back. We honestly didn't think of bed bugs until we saw a live bed bug crawling on the sheets. Yogi, the General Manager refused to help us in any way besides changing our room. When I asked for our belongings to be washed, he said that compensation—including reimbursement for laundry expenses—would come from Hilton. When I was checking out, I asked for the incident report number which Yogi refused to give to me, becoming rude and unprofessional as he spoke to me. After contacting Hilton corperate, Spark by Hilton refunded 1 night's stay ($150) without any discussion with me about our expenses dealing with the bed bug bites. Hilton gave me 10,000 points, noting that Spark is independently owned and operated so it was Spark's responsiblity to compensate us. I am very disappointed because this is my first experience with bed bugs - believe me, I stayed in some dumpy places!! I understand that bed bugs can happen in any place but I was really shocked by the lack of empathy from the general manger.

    Location is good; youre about 30 minutes outside of NYC without major traffic. TV didn't work in my room. AC didn't really seem to kick in, but the room didnt feel overwhelming warm. The people in the hotel were very loud, and the TV didnt work to tune them out. However, the room was clean. The room was also huge. I've stayed at other Sparks, and they haven't been that big! There was even a couch in the room! Not a lot of grassy area to walk the dogs, but it was something. Overall, it was alright and what to be expected by a "lower end" Hilton hotel.

    DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. Poor Service Lack Of Manners Front Desk Staff Are Very Rude No Consideration No Refunds If Due To A Family Emergency Won’t Refund Even 50% Of Booking Price Will Automatically Charge Your Card “ No Show Fee “ Lack Of People Skills Called on the day I couldn’t check in due to a family emergency. Front desk told me to call the next day and ask to speak with the manager on site. Called the next day to speak with the manager on site. “ Manager is not here today. Call tomorrow. “ I said no I called yesterday and was told to call today and ask to speak with the manager regarding my room that I booked. Front desk staff are very rude and useless.

    Well, this place belongs to the Hilton group, which naturally raises expectations,although the service felt more like that of a Spark hotel! Let me start with the location ; it’s really, really far from Manhattan, so if your main reason for staying here is to visit Manhattan, you definitely have other options closer by. Swimming pool; When we arrived in the evening, we thought we’d relax and go to the pool. Well, there were no towels at all. I went to the reception to ask for one, and they gave me a tiny face towel which was full of holes! The next morning when we went again, they had placed towels, but there were two problems: first, there wasn’t even a small bin for used towels, so everyone just left theirs on the chairs, and all the seats were covered with used towels! As for the shower, it was completely broken (I’ve uploaded a video of it). The pool water also had lots of fine particles in it, as if the filtration system wasn’t working properly. Breakfast; Breakfast wasn’t bad, although it wasn’t particularly complete either. Parking; One good thing is that the hotel offers free parking. Room quality; Our room was clean and quite new ,definitely up to a 4-star standard. But one inconsiderate guest in the room across from us kept their door open until 3 a.m., making it impossible to sleep! Thank you for reading this
