    Long term residents because of work get terrible service. They have to ask multiple times to get their bedding changed and their rooms actully cleaned.

    After a 12 hour drive we looked forward to our stay at the Pennsville Hampton Inn. I have stayed here previously without issue. I was also looking forward to the room upgrade that was issued. Room 308. See attached photos - the tile floor was sticky with dirty areas worse in corners - carpet stained - lamp base dirty - carpet had not been vacumned; candy wrappers and other visible debris in random areas - chair has stains on it - sofa cushions stained; upholstery fraying - bed made, but sheets excessively wrinkled..almost look slept on - blue bedskirt falling down - toilet tank top ceramic broken - rust in nearly every screwed in bathroom fixture - bathroom floor excessively sticky and dirty - bathroom sink calking dirty - all drain fixtures rusty; sink drain not sealed - spider on ceiling in bathroom -window treatment broken- Typically I would have requested another room, but frankly I was just too tired to deal with it. Breakfast buffet was less than mediocre... Lobby furniture scuffed stained and fraying. Far below expectations for Hilton Brand.

    The staff was very friendly and cordial. The room was very clean and smelled clean when you walked in. The beds were super comfortable. I usually get up a couple times a night and I slept straight through the night. We were traveling from NC to CT, so this place was an easy spot to stop to rest for the night. The only thing negative I have to say is if you have allergies to perfumes/ colognes the soaps they provide are very strong; bring your own.

    A very poor experience unfortunately. Checked in and assigned 2 separate rooms that were not made up, when we finally were given rooms that were ready it was clear that no effort had been made to make them up to a high standard. Bathroom was filthy and pillows appeared to have been thrown onto the beds with very little care. Night porter was helpful and only going off the system indicating that the rooms assigned to us were ready, however upon giving feedback to the day staff they refused to look at us and very clearly didn’t care. Avoid if possible.
