Hotel renovation is great. Rooms are great, as are the common areas. Service and meal accomodations by Redz restaurant are awful. Great hotel if you don't need anything and can just go to your room for the duration of your stay.

I would love to give this hotel a higher rating. The rooms were very nice, well equipped, and homey. Unfortunately there was an issue that seems to be becoming indicative of Hilton hotels. I was traveling with my toddler son. Two days before arrival I call, thinking I'm speaking to the front desk, and request a room with a bathtub. Then after an 11 hour drive I get to the desk and the clerk tells me they have no bathtubs at that property. Had I known that, I would have stayed elsewhere. The manager when I tracked him down was apologetic and offered me 10k points back but it was still a big hassle and difficulty that could have been avoided.

Terrible experience- I would not recommend this location if you are a family traveling with kids. The warm cookie and sometimes operable indoor pool do not negate that this hotel is geared toward business MEN. There are other hotels with better service and amenities locally that I would consider before this one. I am only giving one star because of the lovely new receptionist they have.

I got ready here the day of my wedding and it is a very nice place, but my morning was filled with problems. First, they told my wedding party to get ready in the wrong room when we paid for a specific room… and then they all had to move to the room we actually paid for after our hair and makeup people were already set up. Then, I made plans for breakfast to be set up for everyone, but the guy I talked to never finalized it. At least the hotel was accommodating and took care of it, which I appreciated.

I stayed at the DoubleTree in New Jersey for my best friend’s wedding, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I noticed several signs and greetings for other wedding parties, but none for our group, which felt disheartening given how special the occasion was. Our room had been reserved and blocked off months in advance, yet when we checked in, we were downgraded to a lesser room without notice. After several minutes of discussion with the night staff, the issue was eventually corrected and we were given the room we originally booked. While I appreciate the staff’s effort to resolve it, this was not an isolated incident many of our friends and family members encountered similar booking problems and were not properly compensated for the inconvenience. The situation became so frustrating that the groom had to meet with management on Monday morning to address the repeated issues. For such an important event, we expected a much smoother and more organized experience. While the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, the poor coordination and lack of attention to our wedding group left a lasting negative impression.
