  Staff tell me this hotel is scheduled for a renovation. It is apparent that it is due, but nothing to the extent that detracted from our stay. And we’ve been here six days so far. Some chair legs are wobbly. And we needed help getting a window closed. No big deals. All kitchen appliances work well. Thermostats kept room at an accurate temp. There is a sleeper sofa and an arm chair. Neither was quite like my La-Z-Boy at home. But a couple of throw pillows made them fine. I’ll give the bed an okay review. My wife thought it was great. I prefer a bit softer for by bad discs. No one bed can please every kind of sleeper. I wish it was more of a pillow top style. My wife does not. Breakfast is great. There is a wide variety of hot and cold options. Even with the rising cost of fresh fruit, there is plenty of it. Magdalena is there eve morning to get the coffee out early and she is so sweet. And, in my opinion, people really make the experience. Dave was so helpful and efficient at the front desk. Each time we needed to extend our stay in a nearly full hotel, he was able to keep us in our room. Dave is great. Also Paola is ready with a broad smile in an any situation. That is so nice to see. Her positivity is a great asset for the hotel. Harriman State Park is nearby and is where we did a lot of hiking. Beautiful, well- maintained park. We saw very many deer, turkey and eagles every day.

  Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting family. I've stayed in many Hilton hotels so I'm basing this rating on experiences at other locations at similar or even lower price points. I travel at night so I love digital check in and a digital key using the Hilton app. Check in worked well. The location is easy to get to and there are plenty of parking spots available. I was a little surprised there were only rooms available on the first floor. The other floors were considered paid upgrades. I read reviews stating that the first floor is the "pet floor". That appears to be true but fortunately, I didn't encounter any extremely bad odors. Our room was clean. The furniture and room needs an upgrade for the price charged but it was not an extreme issue. The walls are very thin! You can hear everything going on inside the hallway and outside in the parking lot. Again, not a huge deal but keep that in mind if you're looking for privacy and quiet.

  I am sorry to write a negative review, but honestly, based on the 2 bedroom suite we had on the third floor, I recommend you go elsewhere. Kitchen cabinet door was chipped and would not close. Neither toilet in either bathroom worked properly (one had flushing issues, the other's seat would not stay up), kitchen silverware placed in bottom drawer off the floor, towels needed replacing 3 years ago, and furniture was WELL worn. The elevator has a horrible odor. What this property screams for is a deep clean and update. We had stayed in Homewood Suites nearby the week before and found it wonderful. We skipped breakfast we were so eager to depart.

  Do not go on to the 1st floor at all. It smells really bad! Rooms are old and need updating. Maid did a great job though, very clean. Id honestly not stay again but it wasn't bad if that makes sense.

  Made a reservation through Booking.com and it was a disaster. I called the property directly and Monica was extremely helpful. Went out of our way to assist us. Thank you
