A friendly staff and so are the rooms. The decor is well kept but dated. However, that will be dealt with in time, I'm sure. The breakfast area wasn't restocked in a timely manner.

Before I start, just know that the staff were absolutely delightful in every interaction and were truly the only benefit of this location. We came to this location during the last week of the ren faire.
I have stayed at motels and quick-hotels around the country. And I have never gotten such a feeling as 'I have to leave right now' as I did after stepping into my room at this location. The hallways and rooms were dirty, walking by the pool and looking through the window looked like seeing an abandoned building rather than an active facility. The room is not updated, which is fine as they dont have to be, but is dated in the way that it hasn't been taken proper care of in a decade. The door did not fully lock, and there was a massive spider crawling up the bedskirt as we entered with more evidence of general bugs (not bedbugs) around the room. My fiance (M) got the same feeling that I did and we ended up not even unpacking our stuff and going to a different hotel at 1 in the morning, which again I have NEVER done before. I dont know what primal instinct was telling me to go, but I sure wont be back.

This hotel was filthy. The chairs were covered in dirt, the bathroom was full of mildew, it’s clear that this is not a hotel that has been renovated. Bed was uncomfortable, breakfast was ok at best, but thankfully, there was an awesome convenience store adjacent to the parking lot. There were two guys at the front desk that were extremely nice, and one that was horrible. I had booked a suite, but he would not honor the booking up to the point that I called corporate about it. I also saw him be extremely rude to a woman who (thankfully) called him out on it. I wish I had gotten his name… I love staying at Hampton properties, but after this experience, I don’t think I will go back. Hilton wants me to call a corporate number that won’t do anything about it. There’s nothing you can do to placate me. I just want people to know that this is not a place you should stay.

We changed our travel plans and needed a place in New Jersey near the interstate to overnight. I read good reviews on Google about this property. It is did not disappoint. Matt at the front desk was helpful and checked us in promptly. Our room seemed palatial and while simple, had nice furnishings. The bed was super comfy and we slept well. We stayed near the back of the hotel and were well insulated from any possible road noise. Breakfast in the morning was ample. We enjoyed our stay and were eager to pass along our experience here on Google Reviews.
