  We’ve enjoyed Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood before but our recent visit wasn’t pleasant so we’ll be looking for another hotel next time we need lodging. Noise after 11pm due to many families of Pre-teen girls in town for a dance competition shouting in the hallway, slamming doors etc. My call to the front desk was futile as she said she’s working alone (in a full hotel!?) so the noise continued until midnight. Unacceptable. Also - breakfast pricing > $20pp is too high! Free coffee ends 9am-ish Room prices have gone up but service has gone down.

  Rooms were decent, nothing too special but did give the feeling that they were clean. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and quiet and served its purpose. Nothing too wow but we would stay here again no problem.

  Excellent service, especially when one person in our party accidentally locked herself out. The rooms are clean and provide everything needed for a short stay.

The lobby is pleasant and put-together, check-in is smooth, and the overall vibe is very mentchlich and professional. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and laid out with seichel, the beds are actually good (not the kind you regret in the morning), and everything feels fresh and well maintained. Now let’s talk shidduch dates, because tachlis—this place is a great choice. The lobby and common areas are calm, classy, and neutral—not too fancy, not awkward, and not loud. You can sit, talk, and actually hear each other think. It has that perfect balance of “nice location” without being intimidating or trying too hard. No screaming kids running laps, no nightclub vibes, just a relaxed, respectable atmosphere where two normal people can have a normal conversation (which, let’s be honest, is already half the battle). It’s also conveniently located in Lakewood, easy parking, easy in and out—no need to circle for 20 minutes or start the date stressed before it even begins. Whether it’s a coffee meet-up, a first date, or even a follow-up sit-down, this place checks all the boxes. Bottom line: whether you’re here for a simcha, business, visiting family, or a shidduch date, Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood is reliable, comfortable, and dignified.   If I could get this place zero stars I would!!! If you are a person of color please do not stay here it is not safe for you or your children. My family stayed here for one night we had four rooms. One of the rooms my family stayed in received a knock on the door at 10:30 pm and the staff member named Christi informed them they were too loud and that she called the police. No noise warning or nothing. In result of that we requested if we could find a resolution and informed her we would send the kids to bed as it was pretty late and we didn’t want to leave a hotel at night with several kids. She was extremely disrespectful told us there were quiet hours and pulled the sign out from UNDER a stack of papers. We tried to plead with her because again we had 6 kids ages 3-9. It’s also insane that she wanted to put all four rooms we had out because one room was loud. We asked for her noise complaint policy she refused to explain nor give it to us. We asked to speak with a manager and she refused. She told us we were not customers regardless of the fact that we were indeed to customers of the hotel because we had not checked out. I have been a Hilton honors member for the last 6 years and never in my life have received such treat me. She referred to my family and I and “ Those people” amongst other things if you get my drift. It was extremely racist, rude and in no way a representation of the Hilton brand. She had over 10 cops come to remove children from a hotel room at midnight with no warning, just to prove her authority…. Disgusting!
