It has a beautiful lobby! For the price of this hotel, I feel like there should be a continental breakfast option, but instead, they cook it to order and it’s $22 for one person, which I think is outrageous. I like that the showers have the shampoo and conditioner on the walls inside, which makes traveling easier. It was a very high-quality conditioner too! The room was very clean, and I was pleasantly surprised that they already had a nice, soft blanket in the room in case you needed extra warmth and weight on your bed. However, I did not like the sheets. They are the kinds that are very starched and stiff and they feel kind of scratchy on my skin. I kind of have some sensory issues so maybe normal people wouldn’t care, but if you know, you’re one of those people that needs your sheets to be very soft, they are not. I felt like they should be better sheets for a hotel that nice. Lots of squishy pillows. They had a pretty little patio outside that was decorated for fall! I didn’t get to see the indoor pool, but that’s awesome they have one. It was very quiet and all staff was extremely friendly. The young man that was up front the night we checked in was so nice.

Checked in went to room and when pulling the thin cover off the comforter there was blood on the comforter where it would touch your face. Checked the other bed and the comforter was dirty. Went to the front desk and they sent someone up to change the sheets and he questioned whether it was washed blood. Told him to take a close look at it then he was annoyed he needed to change the other bed. We received a free breakfast voucher. I will never stay here again. Check your comforters if you choose to stay because they are putting them back on unwashed. This was a $300 one night stay. Hilton you can do better.

Rooms and front desk was excellent, but… if your breakfast is supposed to close at 11am, you shouldn’t clean it up at 10:50am. Everything was packed up at done by 10:55am. Especially for the price we paid for our room, since breakfast was supposedly included.

The Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood continues to exceed expectations. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, with updated, sophisticated decor that adds a touch of elegance to every stay. I love the new TV enhancements they just made this past week! As someone who travels frequently for work in the area, this has become my go-to hotel. In fact, it’s the only place I choose to stay. The team treats me like a valued friend, always greeting me with genuine smiles and a heartfelt “welcome back.” That level of hospitality makes all the difference. Breakfast, and Dinner are always fresh and satisfying, and the lobby coffee station is my favorite last stop before I head out to work. (Thank you Chef Cliff and Chef Erik! ) The lobby has a beautiful work space as well that I find comfortable and convenient. The firepit and new patio area-extends into a cozy space and I enjoy talking with other guests! I know I’m bound to miss a few names, but I want to sincerely thank Cynthia, Victoria, Christine, Brenda, Gabby, Roxanne, Nicole, Cathy, and Francesca for making my time away from home such a wonderful experience. Your thoughtful gestures, genuine smiles, and attention to detail create a wonderful environment that feels more like a second home than a hotel. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team at Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood—you truly set the standard. Thank you for all you do behind the scenes to make every stay exceptional! See you all Next Week! Cheryl
