Front desk service was good. Check in and out was very easy and quick. Parking is good but spaces are tight so I wouldn’t park a car you love/like in the parking lot. The best way to describe the room and cleanliness of the room was I walked in and I wanted to walk back out and go home. Never again. I genuinely felt like this hotel was a short term shelter for locals based on what I observed. If you’re young and need a cheap room for the night/couple of hours, this hotel is for you. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone else.

Hilton Honors Gold member staying here for on a Points and Money award. I booked this room and selected it on the HH app 24 hours in advance. I checked in after midnight, went up to the room and found there were no towels. Called front desk, but nobody offered to bring them, so I had to schlep downstairs for them. Strike one. Went down the hall to get some ice. Ice machine broken. Strike Two. Check out time is printed on the door and the room phone as 12:00 pm. Maid kicked me out of the room at 11:00a. Front desk never offered me an extra hour late checkout. Had to camp out in the lobby waiting for my ride. Strike three. Requested a printed account at the front desk. Hotel automatically adds parking to your bill, even if you come in a taxi. They have to back the parking charge out by making a separate refund to your cc. Strike four. I'm out of here, never to return.

Bathroom clean.
Carpets in the room are dirty. If you wear white socks they will be grey afterwards.
Room was very loud due to train tracks nearby.
Breakfast is the worst you can find. In Europe we dont even offer that to homeless people.
Furniture in Breakfast room totaled, worn out, broken, cracked.
Never seen such a place in 30 years of travelling around the globe.

The hotel charges $22/night for parking, but they didn’t have any parking available on site and therefore I had to park in another “designated” area that was outside the premises and didn’t seem to be safe.
Very dirty office chair that I didn’t feel comfortable to use.
Broken furniture (see picture).
Toilet bowl is shaky, wasn’t fastened to the floor strongly enough.
The sound of the heating/cooling system is extremely loud. We had to turn it off completely in order to sleep despite freezing weather outside.
I don’t understand why this hotel is called “suites” when we just stayed in a one room hotel.
The view is not so bad, but you are expected to see tons of construction work, including heavy equipment and industrial items outside.
Breakfast wasn’t so good. Extremely limited options. White bread and plain bagel were the only, bread and bagel options, respectively. No water to drink with my medicine.
PS: though this has nothing to do with the hotel but wanted to include for those who wants to see NYC but wants to stay in Newark. The NJ Transit train is horrible and unreliable. One time when we were traveling to NYC, it came full and we couldn’t board it. On the way back, the train was full again and we skipped it. But another one didn’t show up with so many people waiting. In spite of having round trip tickets for the train, we had to order a taxi to get us from NYC to the hotel by paying almost $100.

Stayed there for 3 nights last week. When I originally booked I used hotels.com our plans changed a few weeks before and I called directly to add a night ahead of the original first 2. Drove from NH and arrived late around 10pm to find out the day after I booked that additional night someone called and added a random person to the reservation and then 5 days later called back and canceled that one night. The booking through hotels.com was never touched. The rooms are ok but not well insulated. You can hear every train that goes by all night long. The parking lot is extremely tight and small.
I spoke to another guest in the elevator who told me after checking in he went to his room to find someone already sleeping in there.
