    The hotel was a last minute, no planned stay. We arrived at 8:30pm. The location was great, options for food were plenty, hotel was easy to find, grounds were kept neat, clean and inviting. The desk clerk, Meredith, however, was anything but! We were immediately greeted with a sigh. we reported were looking for a room for one night, if available. We were then greeted with an eye roll. She proceeded to list what was available, rattling info like reading a rap sheet, the whole time using a tone of condescension like we were an inconvenience. She gave us the price, and my husband followed up with the online rate was ten dollars less. He then proceeded to advisehe was a hilton awards member which she never even asked for. Again with the eye roll, then it was, I need the number wait, no.Now, go again, That's not your email, ugh! , were the responses we got to info we provided. she cut us off.Mid sentence mid information. At which point I glared at her from across the desk, and she must have realized she was being a little snooty and cast her eyes downward. She was very negative, clearly not having the best of days, not that that was our fault. I ordered a six a m.Wake up call which she never fulfilled. That's a shame because the hotel is lovely.Breakfast was great.The rooms were clean and comfortable. Consider you've been traveling for hours.You're tired and the first thing your greeted with is that..... that's unfortunate. We may stay again. I just pray that she's not working that night.

    Made a reservation weeks ahead and when we got there the lady behind the desk immediately said that there was no rooms before even saying hello. When we told her we had a reservation she said it didn't change the fact there were no rooms and there was nothing she could do. When I retrieved the email and checked on their website it still showed I had a reservation, when I gave her the confirmation number she said "what did I tell yall when you first got here" she then asked me for the confirmation number and after giving it to her I then received an email that the reservation was canceled. We left w getting no room and even if there was some sort of glitch, because I do understand accidents happen, she was very rude and unprofessional.

    My husband and I flew in for a wedding. Unfortunately the check in staff knew nothing about our wedding block which involved a shuttle service to the venue. The room was decent sized. The bedding was clean & the shower looked newly renovated which was nice. However we noticed lots of fingerprints around which makes me feel like nothing was wiped down well. The bed was comfortable & I liked the size of the fridge & that we also had a microwave. The complimentary breakfast was nice but the waffle batter was terrible. It was a decent stay. Nothing to rave about but nothing to complain too much about either.

    Nobody answers the phone. Google maps says $93. Desk guy denies that i called. I tell him the rate shown. Its not that his rate is different, its his attitude and i told him. He said he didnt like mine either. So, i left. Also, his girl , she didnt look like staff, thought it was funny. The marriot nearby, customer service was top notch, hampton needs to take notes.

    10-29-25 Went to the front desk and said hello to the check-in clerk. She said Hello, with no facial expression. I said something like how was your day. Fine. No smile or facial expression. I'd just read the reviews and they read "not friendly, rude staff, etc. And there was this young woman living the part. So, I started laughing d (because of all those negative comments) and said, THAT BAD?? She immediately relaxed and realized I was warm and happy to meet her. Well, long story, but we were laughing and giggling for 15 minutes. Karema sp? was a charming and delightful young woman. I told her to make note of our names, phone #, and address and if she finds herself in South West FL to let us know immediately. Shed be welcome any time! BTW, the man in charge of the breakfast room went out of his way to be delightful. He helped every single guest that entered his work area. Big warm welcome to everyone! Disregard all the negative comments. No smell, no everything previously posted. Only wonderful employees that were happy to see smiling faces.
