Very comfortable. Clean and updated. Didn't hear alot of noise. They remodeled another since the last time I was here years ago. The food at the restaurant was good. Would have liked to seen more of a variety for the breakfast buffet but it was still very good nonetheless. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

This is my preferred home base for all Philly and NJ business travel and the biggest reason is the people. From Paula and the rest of the front desk crew to Fatmir and Barije in the restaurant, I'm always taken care of. As someone who travels over 200 days a year, it's nice to be recognized by friendly faces who understand customer service, especially during check-in and dining. Is the property perfect? No, but none are and the people at the Doubletree offset the expected issues of an older property. I'm always grateful for you guys.

I am truly disappointed with my stay at the DoubleTree this past weekend. I’ve stayed at this location many times before and never had an issue until now.
We woke up to find our car had been broken into. Someone attempted to steal it and stole an item from our trunk. We immediately reported it to the front desk, and the representative told us the manager would be coming in soon and would like to speak with us. Unfortunately, no one ever came to our room or followed up, and no accommodations or support were offered.
On top of that, my card was charged three times even though I only booked two rooms. I had to contact DoubleTree afterward and create a case ID to resolve the issue, which added even more frustration to an already stressful situation.
The cleanliness of the room was also unacceptable. The washcloths were dirty and had hair on them, which made us uncomfortable and decided to wait to shower at our home.
Everything happened right before checkout, making the end of our stay extremely frustrating. The only positive part of our experience was check-in with Bob was very helpful and professional, and I truly appreciate his customer service.
Because of this experience, we have an upcoming trip next week and are now seriously debating canceling and staying at a different hotel. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing, especially considering my previous positive experiences at this location.

Beautiful lobby area even through renovations. Cozy stone and wood restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
Beds were lumpy but tolerable. Towels were rough and toilet paper was so thin. Why do hotels keep buying the thinest toilet paper? We just end up using 2-3 times what we would use of the better paper. Flexible bed lights were nice for nighttime reading. Otherwise, the lighting was dull except for one large light by the sitting chairs. Room had a fridge but no microwave.

Restaurant and bar is poorly run. Not opened when stated on posted schedule. Management staff for restaurant disconnected from customers. Hotel staff mainly unhelpful.
Room filled with smell of pot (marijuana). Made staff aware and front end representative less interested in fixing the issue. Minimal effort. Decided to move to a different hotel. Hilton Corporate Customer Service assisted. Made them aware of the poorly run hotel. Definitely NOT a 4-star. Maybe 2-stars on a good day.
