My husband and I had a great 4 night stay at the Double Tree. They saved our vacation from a AirBnB nightmare in the city. This Double Tree had a very friendly front desk staff, quick and responsive maintenance team, and free well lit parking lot. It’s also only 10-15 minutes from Philadelphia.

I attended an event here and was genuinely impressed. The ambiance throughout the venue was sophisticated and inviting. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive staff, whose dedication made the experience seamless. It's clear that a tremendous amount of work and care goes into maintaining such a wonderful establishment.

We were there for convention and the linen is white with stains all over it. We also had to listen to water running from upstairs the whole time we were there. There was no soap dish at the sink to put the soap in when you open the soap. We could not call for room service because our phone was not working and had no dial tone. Told the front desk they were to have someone in the next day to fix it, it never happened. We did have room service everyday which was good, nice service from our housekeeping. They had one microwave and 30 people trying to warm food up at one time they gotta do better.

I want management to see this. I canceled my next two weeks of reservations because of the following issues: 1. Room 1120 incident (10/16): Someone smoked weed inside my room while I was out. The hallway had no smell, but when I returned, my room reeked of weed. I’ve never smoked in my life and I’m not feeling well — I came back from work to that situation. I reported it to the front desk immediately. 2. Maintenance issues: The door lock constantly jams — you have to push it several times to make it retract. I told the front desk, and the maintenance guy just said, “Hey man, just push it a few times.” Last week, my digital key didn’t work on a different room, and no one fixed it either. I expected better maintenance and security from this property. These issues are unacceptable, and that’s why I’ve canceled my upcoming stays. Add: What really annoyed me even more was the front desk’s response. They offered to send someone to spray air freshener, but after 1 hour and 17 minutes, I called back — and the guy said, “Oh, I forgot what the issue was.” Seriously? The room smells like weed — how is that something you just forget? This was my last stay at a DoubleTree. I’m a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and I expected much better service and accountability.
