Only thing we noticed was the pool and hot tub filters must not have been working great. There was some hair in both but not a big deal we scooped it out and were able to enjoy both!
- ACAlfredo CarlosDec 2, 20251.0I normally dont leave bad reviews, unless its absolutely called for. To say we were thoroughly disappointed in this Homewood suites is an understatement. From the moment we arrived after our 8 hour drive to the last day of our 1 week stay. It all started when my wife called a few days in advance to confirm that the pool was fully functional. The main purpose for staying at this specific location was to have full access to the pool. Since we have young children, this would be a major play in keeping them entertained. My wife was assured that the pool was absolutely functional and there were no issues whatsoever. We'll, that was not the case. The pool was FREEZING. Apparently, the heater went on it and they were waiting for a company to come and fix it. Interestingly enough, I spoke to several occupants at the hotel that go there often and confirmed that the pool is always cold and the staff always make the same excuse. That was the first issue. We were given a room that reaked of BO, yes...body odor. They assured us it would go away(it did not the entire stay) I included some pictures to show that this room had a bad case of ants. Everywhere, they were in the bathroom in the rooms and in the kitchen. The hot water in the tub was good for about 1 rounds. AFTER that, the rest of the family had to take cold showers. The rooms were tacky and literally falling apart. The heaterwasnt working in our room and we had to waut for someoneto come in after 3 days of our stay. The pictures hanging on the walls were literally falling on their own. When we went to use the pull out couch, it was impossible to close up. We had staff come out to help but they weren't able to do it either. The staff was not very pleasant except for one woman who works the breakfast foods. She was very nice. I spoke to several people including the manager named Victoria. We asked several times if we could be at a minimal properly recompensated for the horrible experience. Especially spending hundreds of dollars and receiving such horrible treatment. The only thing she wanted to comp us was bonus points! Im sorry but we traveled 8 hours and had the worst experience at this specific Homewood suites. We have been to many over the years and this by far was the worst. Never going back! There were many other issues like remodeling and dogs being walked around by Children and non functional rooms but I think this would be enough for you to think twice about taking your family here. I gave this hotel a 1 star but would have given it a 0 star if it were an option. Consider yourself warned and if you are told the pool is functional, think twice.
