Recently renovated and very nice hotel. We travel a lot. This hotel, from the front desk welcome, to the room with everything you could want, comfortable bed, good shower, plenty of ports bedside, fridge, microwave, to the excellent restaurant, and it’s in a good walkable location, I’d definitely recommend. Only complaint, $3 water bottles in room. As for the restaurant, in a doubletree I wouldn’t expect much- it was excellent! We had dinner and it felt like food prepared with care by a real chef for us. Haley and Bear is definitely worth a visit. The service was great too, thanks Alysa :)

Excellent full renovation done in Nov 2025 modern, attractive, great quality showers, etc. Hotel was super clean and plenty of staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is not included because you can order it at the restaurant in the hotel so it's way better than other hotels in its class.

Behind the new renovations and the friendly, young staff is a hotel with a lot of problems. We had a dangling fire alarm, cold showers, and a shower that backed up. These problems were reported to two front desk staff members and, eventually, the manager, who only gave us an irritated stare. Nothing was fixed, and the only hot shower we got in Concord was at the in-need-of-renovations old YMCA. There was one day when we received no cleaning. The lobby cleaning woman spent a significant amount of time in either the women's or men's bathroom talking on the phone. Twice she entered when my husband was in the restroom and never left after he announced his presence. Like the hotel, the restaurant waitstaff was very friendly, but our breakfast was always freezing cold. Last, we never received a feedback survey after our stay, thus the reason to post a Google review.

I visited AFTER the remodel, and it was still terrible. Lipstick on a pig. The walls were painted, but somehow the place is still dirty. I found a MOUND of hair in my shower drain upon arrival. The rooms are small and shabby, AND the management is absent. I was promised a refund almost 2 weeks ago and keep getting the run around AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Soon as I walked in to check into our room I had reservations about staying here. The lobby staff was rude and very unhelpful. While the hotel itself looks like it recently underwent a renovation, it was dirty with awful and weird smells changing from hallway to hallway. The elevator inspections had expired which was concerning considering they were making some strange noises and bumping. We get to our room, which looks decent at first. Again with the strong odors. The bed was the worst we've slept on in a long time. It was hard as a rock and the bedding was stiff, scratchy, and sounded like tissue paper. The heat wouldn't regulate, so it was either cold or scorching hot all night. Could hear the traffic from the road throughout night. In the morning we decided to try the restaurant. Bad idea!!! Although the coffee was great, the food and service was horrible. We were there 40 minutes before we got our cold dry piece of (homemade) banana bread and a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. I don't need to say anymore about the bread and the breakfast sandwich was highly lackluster and the potatoes would've been better straight out of the dumpster. It took 20 minutes to get a second cup of coffee. We barely touched our food, and nobody could bother themselves to ask how everything was. After spending an hour there and way too much money, we left disappointed and hungry. Most definitely would not recommend staying at this Doubletree in Concord NH.
