This place is old and thats fine. However, its run down and they've done nothing to improve it! The room was hot. Adjusting the thermostat didn't change a thing. There was mold around the tub where the wall and the tub meet. The caulk is gone and mold is growing. There was what looked like blood spots on the ceiling. The front desk said they would have someone clean it but it was still there 7 hours later. Overall it was a very disappointing experience!

Great location close to museums and the zoo with lots of cute shops and restaurants a very short walking distance. Valet personel and the omelet cooks were the perks of this hotel. No luggage racks were available upon arrival so had to make three trips to our room upon checking in to get all of our stuff to the room. The room was okay. The living area furniture was in poor condition; couch sagged in the middle really bad and there was a hole in the upholstery, chair was worn and uncomfortable. Our bathroom floor was gross. Appeared to not have been mopped and was visibly dirty. I was glad we brought house shoes. The toilet stopped working our last night there and despite reaching out to the front desk it was never taken care of. I didnt get a call until after we left the next day. Online the room looked much nicer than in person. I chose this hotel specifically for location and indoor heated pool, which was cold and needed to be kept a few degrees warmer for sure. The pool deck was also filthy and had food crumbs on it. I dont think it was cleaned the whole time we were there. There was also bags of dirty diapers from someone elses room left right outside our room doorway for a day and half and they were still there when we checked out. The next time were in Omaha we'll stay at another hotel in the area, as there seem to be nicer accommodations for same or less money.

The two workers mentioned in my review are the only reason I would stay here again.
My stay with embassy suites has been interesting. I’ve stayed with embassy suites a number of times over the years, this stay was less than perfect.
We got checked in early at like noon which was a plus that the front desk was accommodating but no more than getting to our room the toilet was running and overflowed after being flushed one time. Luckily I caught this before the water got to the carpet and I was able to dam it with towels into the bathroom and shut off the water. During this time, housekeeping and front desk would not answer their phones at all (when I went downstairs they were not busy), and they eventually sent the engineer, Tim.
Tim was an absolute rockstar and has more customer service skills combined than the whole front desk team. The front desk team was just okay at best, not great, but not horrible. Tim should be running the place - absolute asset to this place. The front desk team did react quickly in switching rooms for us and I was happy with this. The building has plumbing issues as the new room has a shower drain that doesn’t work well at all. There is also a smell of sewage outside of the building.
The downstairs bar was great but needs more workers. We were down there watching football and Karyissa (the bartender) was absolutely awesome holding it down on her own. I felt bad she had to clean the whole place on her own and needs housekeeping staff there to help her because it was a lot for one person but she managed the situation awesomely and even took the time to check in on us.
