    Although overall my experience was great, this is overshadowed by the lack of communication by the front desk. A scammer was prevalent, calling people's rooms stating their credit card was not on file, and insisting they needed to give their credit card number immediately. Despite knowing this was happening, the hotel did not notify the residents. They have our cell phone numbers and text us when we check in to make sure everything is ok, etc. This is the perfect forum for them to warn people of the scam. Moreover - they should encourage you to take your phone off the hook if you're not expecting incoming calls to the room, as the calls were coming very late at night and early in the morning. Clearly, the scammers want you to be groggy so you fall for the trap - which I nearly did! We had dozens of rooms at the the hotel as we were there for a wedding and some people were verbally warned about the calls by the front desk; but not everyone was told. This is a matter of safety, for which the hotel has responsibility, which they did not take seriously enough.

    Evening of 09/03/25 – I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a Hilton Hotel. I made a simple request for a digital key, but instead of assisting me, the receptionist laughed at me and was dismissive. This was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful. What made it even more disappointing was that I expected the warm, friendly hospitality that’s typically associated with the Midwest, especially in a small Nebraska town. Unfortunately, I left feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. Hilton usually provides excellent service, but this establishment and its staff fell far short of those standards.
