    This is my go to hotel when I’m in town. Chrissy was super helpful in helping us check in and has made our stay so much better! Would definitely recommend

    When you walk into the hotel you're greeted by the smell of roach/bug spray and it follows you throughout the hotel. The attendant that checked us in was nice, and Tamica (who checked us out and back in, because we had 2 reservations) was so nice and even offered us cookies which we didn't accept do to the smell of the building. The room was spacious, but that's where the Nice-ities end. There are no vents in the bathroom and the paint was peeling from the tub. Weirdly we kept seeing Ladybugs all over our room. We checked out today and it felt dirty staying there. I know we'll NEVER stay here again! I'm really hoping that the previously posted review by another guest was handled by the establishment regarding bedbugs, because I'm really hoping we weren't exposed to that by staying here. HILTON PLEASE DO BETTER! COME CHECK THIS LOCATION OUT FOR YOURSELVES! WOULD YOU STAY HERE? IS THIS HOW YOU WANT TO BE REPRESENTED!!.

    I was told by a local that this hotel was in a safe area. If that's true, it doesn't negate the conditions of these rooms. The only reason I'm here is because I'm graduating tomorrow and my parents weren't feeling well so I took their reservation. Now the front desk staff are polite. But the cleanliness and order of the two rooms I saw were severely lacking. The smells coming into the 2nd floor was nauseating. Room 1: King bed. The door knob was partially off track and when I turned it you could see the inside parts. Stains in the floor. Room 2: Queen beds. Trash behind the beds. Dust everywhere (headboards, HVAC unit, behind TV). The most disturbing thing was the bathroom. First there's no fan so what is the meaning of the vent???? The tub is literally peeling and coming apart. There's no way this can be cleaned sanitarily. The tub faucet drips constantly. The hooks and things apparently are just taped or glued to the wallpaper without being soundly drilled. If you hang something use the closets. Y'all can keep those cookies. DoubleTree you e fallen off from what I heard. This was the first and last time. Do better. Hilton is not what it used to be.

    We had the most pleasant check-in I’ve had in a long time. Adele was rapping up assisting other customer when walked in and when the customer walked away she greeted us right away with the same big smile. We’re in town for our daughter’s graduation and really needed a late checkout. Not only did Adele get us settled into our two rooms, wish our daughter congratulations, provided us with dinner recommendations she was able to get us the late checkout. I know it doesn’t always happen but I’m glad she took the time to check with a smile. We have been traveling since 2:30am and the late checkout will allow us to attend the graduation ceremony, come back to the hotel and change so we can drive back to Raleigh for our flight! P.S. most important added touch, she handed my husband his warm cookies 🍪. Honestly, I’ve been booking with the Marriott Brand because Hilton was a hit or miss and at one point just misses. Management, please express to Adele our gratitude and appreciation for smiling and providing us with top notch quality customer service. The rooms were clean, decent, no complaints.

    Be careful with this hotel and their cancellation policy. I found the surrounding area to be a little shady when I arrived and I asked the front desk (they were all very nice) what the policy was and I was told I could cancel, but it would not take the first night off as it was same day of cancellation. I was told that the next two nights would be reimbursed to my cc. I went through the exact steps as explained to me as necessary to complete the cancellation (called Expedia who would call the hotel manager to confirm). The hotel manager was called a total of 6 times; 3 by Expedia and when Expedia had exhausted their efforts, then 3 by corporate). The hotel manager was unwilling to take the call each and every time by both parties and so my request for cancellation was summarily denied. This cost me just under $500 and I did not stay one night (and trust me, never will I stay in any doubletree ever again and I travel a LOT). I went as far as to file a claim with my credit card and that was also denied by the hotel. I used to stay at Doubletree Hotels quite a bit and they have now cost themselves thousands upon thousands of dollars for a couple hundred bucks. The hotel staff I met was really nice though.
