  My family and I usually stay at the holiday inn in Sanford, but we thought we'd try a new place with bigger refrigeratos. I booked 4 rooms (3 under my name and one under my brother in laws name). 3 out of the 6 beds had hair on the sheets. My bathroom smelled like someone who had a UTI just used it. The front desk person didn't even ask how my stay was at check out. The lady who checked me in was nice and she provided clean sheets for me to change the beds. For the price paid, it was not up to our standards. We will be taking our money elsewhere next time we visit family in town

  Being from Sanford, NC originally, I was very reluctant to even try a hotel in town but the advertised ratings had me curious. Very QUICKLY was I hit with the reality check of embarrassment! The staff was half asleep/working on schoolwork or a other job, the environment was dirty, nothing was stocked up in the market, the rooms weren’t clean, the shampoo and soap were completely empty, there’s ABSOLUTELY NO WATER PRESSURE and only goes to Luke warm. The entire place smelled like a high school locker room. At 150$ a night this is ABSOLUTELY AND UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE! I’ve stayed in several Hilton hotels across the U.S. and the rest of the world and this is by far my least favorite stay to date! NEVER WILL I STAY IN SANFORD AGAIN FOR THAT PRICE!! 😡

  Overall fine but they will nickel and dime you. Paid $200 for the night and the front desk staff would not provide me a water — would need to pay for the Desani water. Said it wasn’t up to him. (Which if good with customer service—he provides a water). Just be prepared to pay for add ons in additional to the pricey room charge. First and last time at this hotel.

  First time I have stayed at this location and I will definitely return when in the area. This hotel is newer, so everything is still nice and fresh. The room was clean and did not have any odd odors. Normal Home2 layout with one noticeable exception and that was the breakfast area. I did like how the breakfast area seems to be laid out compared to other locations. Also the breakfast food was better than most Home2 locations. There were multiple food options and none of the typical breakfast in a bag options that just get heated up. Every member of the staff that I came in contact with was friendly.
