The hotel staff was hardly available. She was seen outside in a car. And the hotel lobby and elevator reeked of weed. The room smelled of mold and had a dead roach. As well as smelly linen. The hallway were outdated and the carpet bleached. The room we stayed in was by a window which was opened with no screen. The window seal had dark yellow stains as if someone peed on it. The room door was moldy and dirty and had spider webs on it. The door card and app wouldn’t opened the door. We had to go down to the front desk three times before it worked.

Usually Homewood is a great place to stay at for me and my family, they have great service and breakfast. This particular location does not live up to the regular hilton standard for hotels. The property is extremely outdated and the rooms and elevators are falling apart. The service is rude and Front desk and breakfast attendant have an attitude at every question. The breakfast food itself was poor quality. The rooms were the worst, we checked in after a long drive and found not 1 or 2 but 5 ladybugs in various parts of the room and when we changed our room the other one had a intense cigarette smell causing us to be stuck with the ladybug infested room. Not to mention the rooms were barely cleaned, there were cookie crumbs in the bed and the sofa bed and all around the kitchen. This location is very poorly maintained and upon asking for a general manager I was told "there is no manager at this property " which makes 0 sense and im sure they just lied to my face. As a hilton honors member this was one of the worst stays ive ever experienced.

Not very impressed with this hotel. I arrived at 11am to check in from, I was told they had no rooms available at the moment and had to wait over three hours in the lobby before i could get a room. The rooms are kinda run down, stains on the carpet/ furniture in the room and hallways. I tried to buy food in the front lobby, they asked if I wanted to pay cash or credit, then told me they don't take credit cards. I don't have transportation so getting a snack would require me to walk miles to the nearest store in 30° weather to get a snack.

A disappointment. As stated in other reviews, this hotel lacks attention to general maintenance and upkeep given the price of rooms. This property is not up to the standard of other Hilton brands we stay at. If this is a franchise property, it appears the owners are waiting out the contract with Hilton and going with another hotel chain.

The Condition of this place is absolutely horrible!!!
Avoid this Hilton property at all costs!!!
The photos google are misleading!!!
For the price, you can stay somewhere way better. I travel for work and have stayed at a lot of hotels. This is by far the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed in! The pictures do not do it justice. This property is very old and outdated. There are maintenance issues throughout the property and in my room. The dishwasher in my room doesn’t drain, pools water, and begins to smell bad. My covers in my room or a dingy white due to their age. My shower rod is barely hanging on after being rigged up by maintenance, and the shower curtain is too short so water pours into the floor as I shower.
The fire alarm goes off in this property about every eight hours, even in the middle of the night. It will ring for 10 minutes before stopping. The gym is in the basement of the property where it is even more outdated, and it seems like most of the equipment has been stolen. The dumbbells are missing, there are no gym wipes, and all the equipment looks sticky. The water machine is leaking in the floor and mildewing the floor right where you step off of the treadmill. Many parts of the hallways in this hotel smell like mildew. There are water stains in the ceilings all over the place. The walls need new wallpaper and paint.
Hotel food is never that good but it is particularly worse here. For breakfast they had what appear to be steamed chicken patties similar to a McChicken, Tater tots, and cooked frozen omelettes. I have stayed in homewood suites locations that are light years ahead of this one. The only reason I did not end my stay early is because I travel for work and I am too busy to move hotels.
The service has been good so far, and the location is great, being right next to a mall. Those are the only two good things I can say about my stay here.
Marriot is always better than Hilton. I won’t stay with this brand again.
