  December 26 - 28 , 2025: My wife & I like to travel , especially like Hampton Inns as our “ Go To“ lodging! + Good locations , off the highway + Decorate on Christmas holiday + Cleaning services good + Breakfast quality & speedy + Some have pools , our kids love + Now our Grandkids love the pool + Ice machines usually work To the heart of my concern . . . Regarding our stays at a Hampton Inn: I see a benefit to having a TV showing news, weather, sports reports , etc. However times are different now, in our current political climate. Often people mention two topics to avoid an argument or controversy. . . Stay away from Religion & Politics! My last two visits to a Hampton Inn ( this Hampton in Raleigh, and Matamoras on I-84 at PA/NY line) are disappointing to see FOX News broadcasting in a public setting with so much political division! Sadly our current political climate is toxic. We should avoid that atmosphere in public settings. Turn on a local station for local weather, local FACTS of the town. Stay away from opinions & editorial reporting. Example: FOX News “ reported” claims of 2020 election fraud and the “ fixing” of Dominion Election voting machines. Dominion Company sued FOX for defamation, and won $787 Million dollars. 👎🏼 Otherwise , I would highly recommend Hampton Inns for lodging 👍 Back to our stay at this Raleigh Hampton Inn. . . We enjoyed the room service, food, and most of the atmosphere, with the exception of “FOX NEWS” on your tv in the dining area. Did You Know? History on Inns/Hotel Inn: refers to rural home/building that offers rooms & food to travelers for a night( s). Hotel: refers to larger building with many rooms to rent to travelers, may include a pool, exercise room, restaurant, conference room, etc. Motel: refers to building along a highway that offers a room to travelers that can be accessed from the parking lot. Usually few “ extras” no pool, no restaurant, no exercise room. Hampton Inn founded in Memphis, TN in 1984. Conrad Hilton started in hotel business 1919. Hilton Hotel purchased Hampton in 1999. Today Hampton Inn has 266,933 rooms . Hampton Inn is located in 30 countries.

  Me and my wife stayed here while attending an NC State game, and everything about our stay was fantastic! The location was super convenient with easy highway access. We checked in late, and the overnight front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we had an issue with the AC, the maintenance staff came right up and fixed it quickly and efficiently. The service really stood out, and we’ll definitely be staying here again!

  You guys have a great hotel. It started with Joseph at the front desk. When we called to say we were running early he made an extra effort to make sure that we could check in early and when I got there he was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Your bartender did a fantastic job and was super nice as well. I really enjoyed the conversation. Your hotel breakfast was definitely not a traditional Hotel breakfast and everything was delicious, especially the maple sausage. If we come back to Raleigh we will definitely stay here and Hampton Inn is now becoming my choice for hotels because of this day. Thank you.

  The Hampton Inn & Suites is a great hotel!! We stayed there to see the band OKGO at The Ritz which is literally right down the road. There is a Melting Pot and several other restaurants and shops within walking distance and a Wegman's across the street. The rooms were clean and comfortable and, to be honest, we weren't really expecting much for the breakfast but it was delicious food and a good variety. The price per night was reasonable also. The service and going above and beyond is what really sets them apart. I had left a pair of boots in the room we were staying in and didn't realize it until we had left home. We contacted Diego Armond at the hotel and he greatly assisted us in telling us what he needed to send them to us. Special shout out and thanks to Diego Armond for navigating us through what could have been a really frustrating experience! Overall the experience was nothing short of delightful and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in the area.
