- RWRagan WeathersNov 7, 20254.0We have stayed at this hotel a couple times when going to a Hurricanes game. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean. We love that the lobby has a bar so we can get a drink before the game but it was not open due to staffing issues which I understand but was still disappointing. I would have given 5 stars if not for the negative encounter with the night time front desk employee. I was not greeted with a smile just a look of disdain for having being bothered. I asked to borrow a wine opener since we forgot ours. She said she couldn’t help and was certainly not apologetic about it. I mentioned there is probably one behind the fully stocked bar to which her response was “ You can’t go behind the bar”. I was not asking to just thought there was a good chance one could be found there. I recognize this was a minor infraction however it’s these kind of encounters that can show whether your employees exemplify the customer service you brag about. I will say the daytime staff was much more polite and engaging.

Every inch inside and out is spotlessly clean and EVERY host is encountered had a smile and was accommodating in every way. Met the manager and now know why everyone seemed to enjoy working here. Thank you so much for making this feel like home and us part of your "family". I am still upset about the trash cans though ❤️

I went to see the Billie Eilish concert at the stadium nearby, and had a wonderful experience at the hotel. When i first walked in they asked if i was here for the concert, then gave me a goodie bag with water bottles, candy, and some small souvenirs. there was even a costume billie eilish pin! I loved staying here, and would definitely stay here again!
