  Absolutely the BEST stay for our family visiting from central NC. My husband, two daughters and myself have had a great stay here, as it has been the perfect location for venturing out and visiting Linville Caverns, Lucky Strike Gold & Gem Mine and having lunch at Heifer's Diner in Nebo we randomly came across while out sight seeing. The breakfast was nice with many items to choose from. I personally loved all the Fall decor throughout the hotel, as it made it feel so warm and inviting. The indoor pool and hot tub are a nice addition too! The front desk staff have been exceptionally nice, especially Ila who has been so friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we ever come back to the area, we will definitely stay again.

  The rooms are very nice and the location is right off of interstate 40. The problem I had was I left a fan in the room and when I went back to get it it was going already. They would not allow me to go look in the room to find the fan that I had left the night before.

  Perfect family getaway — beautifully decorated and incredibly welcoming! We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Marion, NC for a family trip to visit our son who lives in the area and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautifully decorated the hotel was — warm, modern, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Our room was spotless and spacious. The indoor pool was a huge hit — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for winding down in the evening. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with plenty of hot and cold options. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering great local tips and always greeting us with a smile. The location is also ideal — close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other outdoor attractions, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. We’ll definitely be back for another visit Highly recommend this hotel !! Loved the pumpkin decorating contest where the guests could vote!!

  I stayed at this Hampton Inn after being on the road for work for 9 straight nights (all stays in the Hilton brand), as I traveled through NC. I have found that the Hilton Hampton Inns, in western North Carolina are generally some of the cleanest and most friendly Hiltons, anywhere else you would find. This one did not disappoint, and really won me over as my favorite Hampton Inn to stay in this trip. I'm not sure who is in charge of the decorations for this location, but this hotel was over the top and amazing in taste and engagement for the fall season. It just made me smile when I walked down the hallway or went into the breakfast dining area or even the lobby. Along with that, the ladies that put the breakfast together, which was your typical Hampton Inn breakfast, had a few extra touches, like some nice fresh cut fruit and constantly restocked. Beyond that, they were smiling and talking to the hotel guests and greeting them. Thank you to this team for bringing a smile to my face every time I walked out of my room and into the lobby area.

  My second time staying here. First on business, this one with family for leisure. I am a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed at many Hampton Inns. They are usually a good option, but some stand out. This is one! It has a homey, welcoming feel that grabs you. This comes by way of seasonal decorations that clearly come with thought and effort. Next is the authentic sense of service that comes from the front desk--all who work it. The there is breakfast. To be honest, I often skip the breakfast as it has seemed to become bland and easy. Frozen, jarred, canned, etc. The Hampton Marion clearly tool an effort here as well. Fresh fruit--bluberries and strawberries. Also fresh bananas that were not overly ripe but ready to eat--even had encouraging thoughts wriiten on them! Attentive, friendly, staff--all kudos to Sheila! I felt like I was a guest with family. Location was also good for going up toward Spruce Pine. Morganton had great restaurant options and quaint downtown, only 15-20 minutes away. Hilton/Hampton Corp. should take note here...
