The Hampton Inn Havelock hotel in North Carolina is a beautiful three story hotel built in the spring of 2001. It is located on the west side of Havelock, only a few minutes from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and about twenty minutes from the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. In the opposite direction, you can visit historic downtown New Bern, North Carolina. Asian, Italian, Greek, African or otherwise, we can help you find the perfect place for any food craving you may have.
Guestrooms at the Hampton Inn Havelock hotel include amenities such as complimentary deluxe continental breakfast bar, TV with cable and movie channel, coffeemakers, and iron/ironing boards. We also offer connecting rooms, cribs, hair dryers, and refrigerators to our hotel guests. This one is a pretty typical to slightly above average Hampton Inn, no issues I see, and appreciate no carpet on the floors. 5 star review is for Chawn though. Helped me out with a request where I had to be difficult because of an allergy. Thanks Chawn!

While I was there I lost a bracelet, and Star at the front desk went out of her way to look for me and contact me about it. Someone found it in the parking lot, and Star made sure it was in a safe place for my friends to pick it up. Excellent service!! Thank you!!

- JFJonathan ForisOct 11, 20251.0Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Havelock, NC, with my family on October 7, 2025. Our room was on the top floor, and smelled like mold and mildew. Extremely strong odor. The room was also dirty, other people’s hair in the bathroom on the soap dispensers, There was a dehumidifier in the room which I thought was weird. There was also dehumidifiers in the hallway going. I had my kids, ages 6, 4 and 1 with me and I didn’t want them getting sick so I went down to complain at the front desk. The lady offered me a different job room down the hall that didn’t have the mildew smell. We switched rooms. We needed to use the pull out sofa bed and upon opening it up, we found a dead bug on the sheets along with food in and under the sofa. I took pictures and went back down to the front desk to request it be cleaned. The front lady handed me new sheets and handed me a broom. So I payed to clean my own as well as stay the night. We had intended to stay 2 nights but decided to stay the following night at the Holiday next door. I would not recommend staying here.
