- GLGeorge LeonardNov 14, 20251.0This is a Wyndham hotel and I just wanted to share my experience with the Wyndham hotel right down the street from this hotel. I made a reservation at 10:50 I went up to the window at 10:55 I told (ron) the guy I was very cold out here can I come inside he said well the lobby is all locked up we're in the middle of shift change the reservation is not come through yet you will have to wait until after shift change. Yes this is the kind of customer service that you can expect at Baymont by Wyndham in Eden. The owner should be aware that the employees put their convenience and their shift change and not the customers of head of their own inconvenience. It is absolutely unheard of not to take care of a customer and make them wait outside in the cold This is the state of customer service in the United States these days no one takes personal responsibility for taking care of customers it is always put customers second put customers last you're just an inconvenience to me I just want your money shut up. You have no reason to consider to be treated with any respect or that your comfort is important it's only about the prophet and about the dollar. Please do not give a penny to these people if I did not have broken tail lights on my U-Haul trailer I would drive to another hotel. After a few minutes I went back into the hotel to make the reservation the gentleman that was on duty at this time he asked me what Ron had said to me and he said he was very upset that Ron had lied to him and lied to me that it was not shift change and that Ron should have taken care of me he would take care of me now and he was very upset I gave him my driver's license and credit card and he told me that there was $100 cash deposit that had to be made I told him okay the lights out Omar U-Haul trailer that's the reason I'm staying but I will drive to an ATM and get $100 cash only had $76 cash on me and he said oh no you can't stay here anyway the reservation was made for Saturday not Friday and I said can't you just change the reservation he said oh no I can't change the reservation so then I called the two numbers listed on Baymont on Google and neither one of those numbers were working finally the third number for the hotel chain worked and I talked to a gentleman I think his name was Sebastian and he confirmed he said no you can't cancel this hotel reservation disputed on my credit cardand I told him I would rather sleep in a ditch to sleep at another Wyndham property.
