One of the best aspects of this hotel was its location. We didn’t have to leave the property, which was especially convenient when traveling with young children. From the moment I checked in, Curtis made me feel right at home. Being new to the area, it really helps to see a friendly, smiling face—and Curtis went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. He offered great local suggestions for places to visit, gave me a wonderful room with a nice view, and always greeted me each time I entered or left the hotel. He even checked in to make sure everything was okay and that I had everything I needed. This is customer service at its finest. Curtis is a true professional and a great representative of the Hilton brand. I really appreciate his kindness and hospitality—he made my stay exceptional! Raymond L.

It was freezing outside, and when I called the front desk at 3 a.m. to report the issue, they did nothing to help and refused to move me to another room. I was told to wait for the manager, who was completely unresponsive and never reached out or offered any solution. This hotel takes your money and doesn’t care about guest comfort or customer service. I would not recommend staying here.

I enjoy Homewood Suites and typically do staycations at another location but decided to do this one to give it a try again. I will be returning to the other location because this experience wasn’t favored. The breakfast closed early, which I understand because I did arrive later. However, at most hotels, breakfast ends right at the time it says, not earlier. This hotel isn’t horrible, fairly clean and the service was incredible from the receptionist. I spoke with Angel and she was very accommodating :) Pros from my recent stay Near the mall Has a bar Relatively clean Great service from receptionist Cons Breakfast was closed a bit earlier than 11am (which was fine, however I wanted a bagel but that wasn’t available) Didn’t match 2021 cleanliness and aesthetic Didn’t have a smart TV, it offered cable (this could’ve been the room I was in though since it’s an accessibility room) Overall, I’ve been at different Homewood Suites in Charlotte at enjoyed it more. The ambiance was better. It could be because I am comparing it to my other stays in Charlotte and the experiences I had in 2021. To everyone looking at the reviews, this Homewood Suites isn’t the best one in Charlotte. However, it’s not horrible and if you’re not into the ambiance of a hotel then this is a perfect stay. Pretty clean and affordable. Overall rating: 3.5/5
