  Excellent location and hotel. ARMAAN and PRESTON at the hotel were very accommodating and provided excellent customer service. The hotel did a great job with our friends wedding celebration B and T. It made for an amazing weekend.

  The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly and I mean every one of them. Very clean and nice hotel. The location is great with lots of amenities close by. I was able to walk over to the YMCA and get a workout in before work that day. Very good experience

  This is a perfectly located hotel for doing many things in downtown Charlotte. All of the major sports venues are within walking distance as is the Convention Center and several theaters. There is a door that leads directly out to the Link train which is super convenient. We stay here a lot. Most of the time things are great. Occasionally, there is a misstep, but they have always fixed whatever issue we’ve had. The rooms are nicely appointed. The beds are comfortable, there are many electrical and charging ports in various places around the room. The showers are nice, great water pressure and they have handheld shower heads which are helpful if you have any balance or accessibility issues. We really like the breakfast buffet which includes an omelette station. Interestingly, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of employee turnover in the morning restaurant staff (which is typically a good sign). Beelay and Kidist have been around for several years and do a great job with breakfast. We look forward to seeing them in the morning.

  Luz and Armaan were amazing. Luz was one of the housekeepers and she assisted us with everything we needed. She even came back the next day to check and make sure we were ok. Armaan made our arrival and departure great. He was very helpful when we were loading and unloading the car. As a Hilton Gold member for years, their customer service was one of the greatest I’ve received since choosing Hilton as my preferred hotel.

  I stay at this hotel often for work. I had a strange man follow me into the elevator at 10pm; he didn’t press a floor number, and when I walked off, he waited until the doors began to close and then hopped off and started to follow me. Thankfully, my colleague stopped the elevator door with his foot, and asked the man where he was going, to which the man responded, “the bathroom.” My colleague directed him to get back on the elevator and go to the ground floor. I reported it, and was told that security would investigate but that “no one can be stopped due to their appearance.” That means that insulting someone’s appearance is more important than making sure guests aren’t followed back to their rooms. I am so glad my colleague was with me because otherwise I would have been completely alone with that man on my floor. To add insult to injury, the hotel made mistakes on my bill, and when I kept reiterating what was wrong with the bill, Preston, the manager, refused to speak with me further and the charges are still not resolved. I have to now have my company call and fix the incorrect charges. Apparently, arithmetic, hurt feelings, and the inability to listen when he’s wrong about basic MATH is enough to bring down the manager of a “4-star Hilton hotel.”
