Old and thick spider webs graced every window near the bar... as if an intended part of decor. The room at an alleged and uncomfortable 68-degree setting felt more like 75 and could not be controlled. If you prefer to sleep soaked in sweat, this would be fine for you. Someone else's hair graced the ceiling of the shower during our stay. The beds were terrible, uncomfortable and painful to sleep in. Horrendous sleeping situation.

Yummy! The FLUFFY Scrambled Eggs.......I had to inform the grill cook that it was THE BEST I ever had!!! Hash browns cooked PERFECTLY!! Absolutely NO BURNT pieces!!! Pure Golden Deliciousness!!!!! The bartender, David, made me a Shirley Temple. 🍷 It was very refreshing. I loved the garnishment! 🍒 Thanks, David! 😊 The front desk attendant sang Happy Birthday to me!!! Thanks, Alaina!!! 🌼 Brayan was an excellent server within the dining room for my to go order on my checkout date. He normally works receiving however they were short staffed so he filled in. Such a nice young man. 🫂 Thanks, Mr. B!!! 😃 When I come to Charlotte my first option....THIS HILTON!!!! WoW!!! What an experience!!! My solo Bday 🎂 celebration was THE Best!!!! Hilton added to the outcome! Thanks Hilton at University!!!! 😘 Oh....the location couldn't be any better. So many shops, restaurants etc...... Did I mention the walk around the lake? Yes! Yes! Yes! - DODante OopsDec 21, 20255.0I had a great stay at Hilton Charlotte University Place. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the rooms were comfortable. The view from our building was especially nice and very relaxing. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the front desk cashier was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking available, and the location felt safe and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.
- BCBrian ClarkDec 18, 20255.0Great stay, near light rail, executive lounge was nice, only no option for breakfast, had to eat in lounge, diamond are not allowed a breakfast credit at this location, staff at front desk were great, room had no hot water , fridge did not work, thermostat stuck at hot in room. Very uncomfortable stay, woman at front desk was very helpful, male was not, bartender in lounge during day was terrific.
