I called for room service at 5:50 AM and was informed by the young woman who answered that the kitchen would not open until 6:00 AM and that I should call back at that time. When I called again at 6:00, a gentleman answered. I requested three bottles of water to be delivered to my room, and he informed me that they would not deliver water and that I would need to purchase it from the gift shop instead. Also at check in I was charged and extra $100 without explanation.
I had an excellent experience with Mr. Jeff, the Hilton Charlotte Airport shuttle driver. From the moment he pulled up, he was warm, welcoming, and extremely professional. He helped with my bags, made sure I was comfortable, and took the time to confirm my airline and terminal to ensure I got exactly where I needed to be.
His driving was smooth, safe, and efficient, and he carried himself with the kind of positive energy that genuinely makes travel less stressful. You can tell he takes pride in his job and truly cares about guests.
Thank you, Mr. Jeff, for your outstanding service—you made my airport experience so much easier and more enjoyable! Highly recommend.

Julie was very rude with a very distasteful demeanor and no customer service skills at all. She called me after check out with a rude tone accusing me of fraud due to the hotel not accepting my payment method when booking (Klarna). I was not aware of this since the payment was accepted at the time of booking and this was not explained to me at time of check in. She was also very adamant that I left items in my room after checking out. I explained that I was 7 min away from my destination and would call back with the proper payment as I was driving and could not pull over. I also ensured her that there were none of my personal items left in the room. She advised me to call back within an hour with the information and stated she will speak with housekeeping regarding the items. I was able to speak with her about 30 min later after being on hold for about 20 min and she advised me that she took it upon herself to use the card that was on file for incidentals “per policy” although it had not been an hour since I last spoke with her. Nor did she explain that the policy states to use the card that is listed on file. If I wanted to use the card on file I would have said that, right? What is the point of saying I will call back with a card if I wanted to use the one on file? She also never clarified what was left in the room. Unfortunately this interaction is what I will remember most about this stay. She needs more coaching and better customer service skills.
Other than that my stay was phenomenal and Mike at the front desk was very helpful!

Dear Hilton Charlotte Management,
As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I wanted to share my recent experience at your property and express my concern about how my situation has been handled.
I attended a dance festival and arrived at the hotel around 1:00 a.m. on Friday. Within 15 minutes of my arrival, the window/balcony curtain fell on me, striking the back of my neck and back. I immediately attempted to contact the front desk multiple times without success. After 15–20 minutes, I finally reached someone and was told to wait for maintenance and to file a report in the morning. I was informed that no other rooms were available of the same type, so I remained in the same room.
The next morning around 11 a.m., maintenance visited and said they would handle the issue. However, when I returned around 5 p.m., nothing had been done — I was later told that a part needed to be ordered. No one communicated any updates to me, leaving me unaware of what was happening, even though my balcony window was left uncovered and completely visible from outside.
On Saturday, another maintenance staff member named Aiden (I believe his name) came by and was able to find the necessary part — something that, unfortunately, the previous technician could not. Very handy and knowledgeable, even apologized for all the inconvenience. Also, as I thought it was normal but wasn’t, the toilet didn’t not have a cover, so they had to install one.
Later that night, I discovered that the monitor controlling the curtain was not working. Maintenance returned on Sunday and manually lowered the curtain, but I was told the monitor was inoperable, leaving me unable to raise or lower the curtain myself.
I filed an incident report on Oct 31 2025 and spoke with Jerry, the manager,
who assured me that someone would contact me within a few days. As of November 10, 2025, I have yet to receive any follow-up.
I must express that my concern has not been treated with the seriousness it deserves. This was a safety hazard the curtain could have fallen on a child or someone with a medical condition, with potentially severe consequences.
I respectfully request a prompt response regarding this matter and the steps that will be taken to ensure guest safety and prevent such incidents in the future. I paid my hard, earned money and deserve and demand answers.
