Stayed at the Hampton Inn Ballantyne Tuesday (10/28 )and had a great experience. The manager, Katherine handled an issue with the greatest of ease and is a wonderful property manager... Thank You! Also, I usually don't participate in hotel free breakfast due to quality, variety and cleanliness - but Martha has the breakfast program rocking! Variety was great, quality and freshness of the breakfast options was wonderful and it was sooo clean. She was welcoming to the patrons and got everyone's day off to a great start. Thanks to all the staff!

Trash. Management and whoever Jose Morales is (if that’s his actual name, hesitated to provide it to me) are terrible at what they do. Traveled 5hrs to stay one night for a festival close by and forgot a bag in the room. Unfortunately it had our registered firearm in it. Staff called us almost 4hrs after checkout, she was very professional and nice, to alert us and to let us know they couldn’t ship it. We have young children at home that were with sitters for this trip and turning around would’ve put us getting home after 1am on a school day. So I asked her if we would be able to come back that weekend to grab it being that we lived so far away. She said no problem! “I’ll put it in the managers office with a note stating that.”Fast forward to Saturday, we’ve bought a hotel room for the night and lugged our kids back to NC. Called to let them know we were about an hr away and Jose is less than helpful or empathetic. He says “I don’t have access to lost and found” so I repeated that Kori (the nice woman who called us on Sunday) said she was leaving it in the managers office. He responded “well you can come by Monday morning when the manager is back”. I explained that we didn’t make this trip for nothing when they knew we were coming back this weekend to get it. He called the manager who then said they’d turned it over to CMPD. No one called us to let us know of this and now we can’t get in contact with CMPD until Monday. We’ve wasted money, time, our weekend for nothing. I asked Jose to have the manager contact me and he said “they’re not gonna do that”. Zero empathy, no compassion for our situation. It almost sounded like he was smiling, he clearly didn’t care. So here’s the review I promised I’d leave, to which he responded “ok :)”. I hope y’all take notes on Kori’s professionalism and empathy, this world needs more people like her.

Stayed here one night during a soccer tournament. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to everything you might need. All areas of the building were very clean. I’d stay here again.

Would have been 4 or 5 stars, but several vehicles got broken into during our stay. I thought the location was safer….
