If you make any choices in charlotte, do not stay here. Heard gun shots 3x in a 6 day stay. Area doesnt have sidewalks and is far from everything. Food is pretty subpar (its not terrible as far as hotel breakfasts go, but i decided to just buy my own. Your experience may vary). Beds are very uncomfortable-- bring your own pillows. Colleagues had problems with cockroaches and cigarette smoke. The pool is closed. Was charged $10 for parking when I didnt have a car (i am told this will be resolved but it hasn't yet). I travel a lot and almost never leave hotel reviews unless they are exceptional. The poor sleep here (gun shots outside + uncomfortable bed) affected my job performance this week so im an unhappy camper especially when I know Hilton can and does do so much better. I realize hilton can't control guns outside, but you have a choice on where to stay.

Watch this hotel they authorize your card at check in for incidentals and when you check out they charge you for room and the incidentals is charged on top of it even with noting charged. Ensure the incidentals is removed at check out. Disputing with AMEX is taking months. Hotel is useless to answer. Room was flooded had to move rooms and chase down staff to get new room key. Beware of ghost charges at this place. Needs closer look by corporate Hilton.

This place was the worst from the moment I walked in. Me and my whole family were treated badly for what I can only assume was because of our skin color. We are from the north and we have not experienced much like that where we are from but it seems if you are white you might not want to frequent that building.

We were really disappointed. The 201 room was really beat up as you can see from the photos. The complimentary breakfast was ok, but nothing exciting. And when we went to the pool, the towels provided at the pool was almost ripped and they still use it and fold it??! Why?? I threw it in the trash already...(didn't take a photo since I didn't bring my phone with me going to the pool) The reason that I still rate it two stars is that the staff there were really helpful. Sabrina who checked us in was really helpful and went beyond.

Our stay was extremely poor. We were put in a currently room being currently renovated without knowledge. Our sink was dysfunctional & did not drain. The shower leaked to the connecting bed room. Our sheets were marked with makeup from a previous stay. Housekeeping never serviced our room after verbally speaking with them. We were given another room on the last day but we stayed 4 days the new room was given on our last night. We had to advocate for our poor stay several times & no acknowledgement or accountability was given.
