    This is literally the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed in my life, you should avoid this hotel if you are expecting it to be regular doubletree. The room is completely different in real life than the pictures I saw on the app, the bed is super uncomfortable and there are some random tiny holes on the sheet, it doesn’t have bedbugs but it just not the type of thing you would expect at doubletree. They also charged me 50 dollars for checking in my room at 1pm, never in my life have been charged additional fee for early check in in any kind of Hilton property besides Conrad Las Vegas charged me 35 dollars for checking in at 11:30 am and as a matter fact they are high end hotel. When your rooms looks like a random motel and then charging people 50 dollars for early check in fees that is called rip off. They even said checking in before 12 pm was 75 dollars, that is just insane. If it wasn’t because I only stay in Hilton I would just book the hotel right next door which I ended up switching my stay to there, for the very similar price I got much better room.

    I did not stay at the hotel, but I used the parking and airport shuttle service managed by staff at DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Tyvola, and the experience was completely unacceptable. The transfer from the airport to the hotel took 1 hour and 30 minutes, when this trip should normally take 10–15 minutes. I called at 3:00 PM and was told the shuttle was “right nearby.” In reality, I did not arrive until 4:30 PM. The delay was caused by poor decision-making by a hotel employee responsible for managing the shuttle fleet. When we were already very close to the hotel, she instructed the driver to turn around, unnecessarily extending the trip and wasting a significant amount of time. When I later went to ask for an explanation, I was offered no compensation whatsoever, only justifications. The attitude was condescending and dismissive, and I felt genuinely humiliated by the way I was treated — especially as an immigrant customer simply asking for a reasonable explanation. Because this service is managed by the hotel, I can only assume that guests relying on it may face similar issues. Had I known this in advance, I would have taken an Uber without hesitation. This experience reflects very poor management and lack of respect for customers.

    DO NOT PARK HERE FOR THE AIRPORT My truck window was broken out as well and the truck next to me. It was by thieves my glove box and everything was dug though. I also was not informed by the hotel of this happing and came back to find it broken out. Someone else had called it into the cops probably when they found their vehicle the same way. The cops taped it up. The hotel couldn’t do anything because park at your own risk.

    Wall plugs don't work, TV options limited and a hassle to navigate, Breakfast is not included, and everything gets charged can't even drink water because their water fountain doesn't work either. In all this place sucks so bad it's not worth visiting.

    Great location and great price for the park and stay. Also, provided a shuttle to the airport which was great going to the airport but unfortunately never showed up for us to pick us up. Lied to myself and wife when we both called 40 minutes apart stating that it would be a 20-25 minute wait each time. We waiting in the zone we were told to wait in for over an hour in 40° weather at 9 at night. When the Doubletree shuttle did show up we walked toward it the driver asked if anyone called for Doubletree. We boarded the shuttle and once we got closer we realized that was not our hotel. The driver told us there are multiple in the area and if we called the other hotel they might come to pick us up and proceeded to leave us outside. I then called the other hotel and a woman answered after stating that I had called for a shuttle I was put in hold for at least 5 minutes. In the meantime I called for an Uber. We did not wan to wait any longer.
