  I stayed here because of proximity to the airport, parking costs, and the availability of shuttle to the airport in the morning. I was told to be in the lobby 5 minutes prior to my shuttle time of 6:00am. I was in the lobby at 5:45. After being ignored by the desk working for 15 minutes, I asked if there was anything special I needed to do about the shuttle. He then I formed me they didn't have a driver this morning. I was the only one in the lobby and he didn't say anything. He said I just "blended in", even though I was standing 4ft away from the desk. So I had to get an Uber, which delayed my time getting to the airport and was a hefty fee. Now I'm in line to check my bag, and IF I make my flight, it's going to be very close. Otherwise, the rooms was nice, clean, and quiet. Just a hassle to start a travel day with poor service and being ignored.

  I’ve stayed in multiple Double trees through out the years, today due to the extent of flight cancellations and being at the airport for 6 hours all I wanted was to chill and order room service which is non-existent since I called 15 mins straight and was transferred to the front desk, I notified her that I’m trying to place an order with no respond and the lady proceeds to say “Oh, there’s probably no one there to answer so you’ll have to come downstairs” usually I wouldn’t mind, but between cancelled flights and being all over the airport…I want to stay in. What’s the point of room service ?

  Dated, worn hotel. Cleanliness is an issue. There is a reason it's become a flight crew hotel. Cookie was the best part of the stay.

  Very nice hotel with lovely outdoor pool. No coffee, or anything else, after breakfast which was disappointing

  We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport while travelling with my wife, our 11-month-old twins, and a 3-year-old — and the experience was absolutely appalling. We booked well in advance and specifically requested two Pack ’n Plays for the twins. As instructed, my wife called 24 hours before arrival to reconfirm, and we were assured they would be available. After several hours of flying with three small children, we arrived at the hotel around 8:00pm. Two Pack ’n Plays were delivered to the room, but by 9:00pm we discovered that one was broken and unusable. When I went to the front desk, the Operations Manager on duty, Jeffrey, was dismissive and unhelpful. He told me the hotel only has four Pack ’n Plays and that they are “not guaranteed.” His solution? He suggested I go to Walmart and buy my own. At 9:30pm, exhausted and desperate, I actually had to do exactly that. Being told by a Hilton employee to leave the hotel late at night and buy essential baby equipment — after it had been requested and confirmed — is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, our so-called “suite” had a pull-out sofa bed that was broken, dirty, and had used socks underneath, raising serious concerns about housekeeping standards. We were offered another room, but at 9:30pm, with three young children and seven large suitcases, moving rooms was simply not realistic. I have stayed in many hotels and have never been treated this poorly. Advising a guest with infants to solve a hotel failure by going shopping at Walmart is unprecedented. This stay was stressful, exhausting, and deeply disappointing. I would strongly advise families — especially those travelling with babies — to avoid this hotel.
