I stayed at the Hampton with a girlfriend and we each had our dogs. They were so accommodating with our pets. You could take your pets anywhere in the hotel except the breakfast room and a few other areas. We felt very welcome. The most welcome I've ever felt at a hotel. This hotel is 3 minutes from the entrance of the Biltmore estates. I highly recommend it if you're traveling with a pet. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Great hotel. We (family of 5) stayed there for a new Years eve week (in 2 different rooms). Here's what worked: •amenities are great. Really nice gym, decent pool, delicious lobby fruit water, and a bar that's open on the weekends •both rooms were sizable •location was great because we had quick access to the highway for arboretum, zoo, Biltmore, etc; but also didn't have to worry about parking in "downtown" Asheville where parking can be tough, and also very busy •breakfast was good •there was an outdoor fire pit, but we didn't use it •staff was super helpful and friendly Opportunities: •they closed breakfast 15 minutes early one day and my son didn't eat •we ran out of body wash and tp. I'm sure they would have brought either to our room if we called. Our room wasn't serviced, likely because they do every other day? (And we changed rooms during our stay, so maybe the timing was why) •the pillows and mattresses in room 1 (the 122 accessible room) was much more comfortable. Room 328 pillows were super thin/not much filling, and the mattress felt old. Both my wife and I have a sore back •the pool and shower towels were very small •i wish they swapped the potatoes. We had the same ones for breakfast 3 days in a row, meanwhile the eggs and proteins were changed daily. Some tots would have been nice instead of the same diced potatoes all three days NOTE: I think they're going through renovations very soon, so the mattresses may be addressed. Overall, we had a great stay and we'd stay again.

A pleasant surprise. This is one of the better managed and run Hampton Inn hotels. Our room was excellent and quiet. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The only disappointment was with the quality of the coffee, both in the lobby and in the room.

Rooms are really nice but breakfast is okay, pool is small, and we tried calling the front office for a lost item but nobody picked up and we have up after around 20 minutes
