⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Embassy Suites Experience in Nearly a Decade
I’ve stayed at many Embassy Suites locations over the years, but I had honestly stopped choosing the brand because so many properties had drifted away from what made Embassy great. This location changed that completely.
This Embassy Suites in Asheville is hands down the best one I have stayed in for close to ten years. My experience here rekindled my confidence in the brand and reminded me why Embassy Suites used to be my go-to.
From the front desk to housekeeping to the valet team, the service was exceptional — truly top five of any hotel I’ve stayed in throughout 2025. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely focused on the guest experience.
The property is clean, well-maintained, and operated with pride. It represents what the Embassy Suites name should stand for.
Highly recommend. I will absolutely be returning.

(Side note for any hotel staff reading this review: My name is different than my partner who made the reservation; but we did in fact stay at this specific hotel.)
It’s a long review but hang in there y’all cause I cover it all.
So, the good, the bad, and the ugly of this stay:
The good- (and only redeeming quality of this stay) was the staff. Shoutout to the service staff members such as Matthew, Marshall, Michael, and Rocky (to name a few) for making our experience pleasant, and making us feel important and attended to, despite the circumstances they were put in. Also the valet staff (whose name tags were covered by jackets or id name them too!) were amazing and so personable. They took great care of us. They also handed my partners manual car like pro’s (his car is his treasure. Believe me, he was so worried lol.) The staff at Soprana were also wonderful and kind. The food was honestly stellar at both Soprana & E’terie. The complimentary breakfast was great and the omelet bar was phenomenal. Check in process was easy and efficient. Check out process was easy. Room keys/check in/check out can all be completed on your phone. The walk into downtown is a quick 10 minutes and the interstate is right there to jump on and head out of town. Room appeared well maintained and clean.
The bad-
The hotel only offers $30 mandatory valet parking (not including tip; tip your valet!) and seems to not make that very well known until you complete booking. They have NO drawers/dressers etc for you to put your clothes in; so if you like living out of your suitcase this is the place for you. If you’re an individual who likes to do your makeup, bring a flashlight in order to see in the bathroom because the lighting is abysmal. The rooms layout is also a bit odd/tight with doors that will block your pathway if left open. The hotel does not handle being busy well or efficiently.
The ugly-
If you plan to stay at this hotel you better make sure there are NO events occurring. Stick with me here. During our stay the company “sbtdc” apparently had some sort of event, and some of the most inconsiderate individuals I’ve ever seen. Individuals who like to lean their arms/body on chairs other people are sitting in, speak rudely to staff, and cluster in front of walkways/bar areas without moving so people with walkers can’t even get through.
But alas, this is the hotel review… which brings me to the biggest joke of our stay. The hotel basically blocked off the entire seating area for only the company, and hotel staff bounced any regular guests to this sad little seating area of maybe 3 tables. The poor bar staff were attempting to serve something like 50+ people and had to prioritize the company individuals over regular guests. Regular guests would be lost among the crowd and not served for extended periods of time (not the servers/bar tenders fault with the sheer amount of people.) On top of this, even though the regular guests were only allowed this small little section of 3-4 tables - they allowed the company people to congregate/loiter in our small “regular” section despite having a massive designated area for them that we “regular” individuals couldn’t enter. So basically the entire 1st floor was dedicated to the company. I watched numerous regular guests not be able to get drinks or eat at the E’terie because there was simply no room. The entire event organization was a sad disaster that left anyone not apart of “sbtdc” to be secondary.
So if there’s an event occurring, prepare to be shoved off as less than to whatever company is in town.
Overall, I likely wont be returning to this hotel and won’t recommend it to friends, family, or clients. (Which is a shame since the individual staff members were so awesome.)
I would try your luck elsewhere.

We stayed here for a few nights with the family, and honestly, I’m not sure if we were supposed to leave. The rooms are so spacious and spotless that my kids started playing hide and seek—and I think one might still be in there. The mountain views were so beautiful they made me briefly consider hiking (briefly).
Every single staff member was so genuinely friendly it felt like we were staying with long-lost cousins who actually like us. The welcome snacks were a perfect touch—nothing says “we’ve arrived” like snacks you didn’t have to buy at 11 p.m. from a vending machine.
And then there’s the free daily drinks for adults—an amenity that should frankly be a federal law. The breakfast buffet deserves its own fan club: an omelette station with what felt like 15 toppings (maybe more, but I lost count somewhere between the jalapeños and feta).
Laundry room with self-service washer and dryer? Check. Indoor pool for the kids to burn off the waffles? Check. A peaceful parent moment with a cocktail while they do so? Double check.
If you’re heading to Asheville, just book it. You’ll leave rested, full, slightly spoiled, and plotting how to justify “needing” another trip back soon.

Embassy Suites has valet parking only in a deck for guests and employees only. During my recent stay, items in my vehicle were taken. It was either an inside theft or the valet staff left my vehicle unlocked. I filed an incident report with the Embassy Suites and contacted Hilton corporate office but nothing has happened. Asheville Police Department informed me that six other thefts have been reported at this facility recently. BEWARE!!!

The embassy Asheville is absolutely stunning — the design is gorgeous and our room was wonderful, clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel bar left a lot to be desired. We waited over 10 minutes to get a drink, even though we were seated and ready to order. The bartender seemed to prioritize guests who were standing at the bar, repeatedly looking our way but never approaching. His demeanor came off as annoyed, which made the experience uncomfortable. After waiting with no service, we — along with another couple — decided to leave and find a better spot outside the hotel. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay.
