  Great little pitstop that is close to the battlefield. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast was pretty good.

  Let’s start with the room. 2nd Floor. Spacious and adequate. Yet, the room and hallway both stunk of rotten shrimp. We stayed here a week ago and the hallway stunk of shrimp then, but our room was ok. The bathroom amenity bottles of shampoo and body wash were completely empty. And there was only one coffee packet. We were both sick and exhausted from several days on the road, so we just sucked it up and went to bed. Which brings me to breakfast. Instead of keeping the Eggs and Meats in a heated container, they were put into an unhealthy glass cabinet on shelves, and were cold when we got to the table. Normally, I would address these issues with a manager, but I don’t think there’s an actual manager on this site. Just the girls working here. That, and the fact that we’re both ill, and exhausted. We’ve stayed at Hilton home to suites before. And I can tell you categorically that this one here is not good. When we arrived yesterday, there was nobody at the front desk. This is around 3:30 which is peak check-in time. So we stood around for about five minutes until I just raised my voice and asked loudly if there was anybody around. This brought a woman out from the back who instead of greeting us, instantly made an excuse about why she wasn’t at the desk. No “sorry for the wait”. Nothing. Hilton? Do better please. Lastly, and this is key. A lot of the reviews that are four and five stars have been written by local people here in Vicksburg. Most of them only have one review. So, I can only assume that this hotel is that bad. So bad in fact, that they need local people to create profiles to up the rating of this hotel. It’s unlikely that we will ever stay at a Hilton again. Based on both of our experiences here. Last week when going on our trip and this week when coming home. Never Ever again.

  Its the one thing no one can stand is a dishonest staff member. Most hotels will pick and choose randomly depending hownthey feel is your going to be able to check in early or not. But to say at 1 pm zero rooms has been cleaned and only 4 cars in the parking lot? REALLY? Diamond member ask if any rooms at 1pm ready. ( Hailey ) Her response only 3 person cleaning low staff today. So between 8am and 1pm zero rooms were clean and ready? She said yes but ill call when ready. Never called. Once I called Diamond support to ask them to cancel my reservation they called over and told me staff on site said NO can not cancel. Then walla 10 minutes later after I called my phone rings and room is ready.

  Loved staying in this hotel! New and modern hotel with clean and quiet rooms. Has a good variety of breakfast foods. Workout gym was decent. Plenty of parking.
