The bathroom has things on the counters which appeared to have been a party room. The “pink-red” and “yellow” items in the pictures posted appear to be dirty. I asked the front desk about this and she said several rooms had bathrooms like this and she would tell ownership. I cannot in good conscience say I felt the room was clean. Disappointed. The yellow is also on the wall too and that picture is posted too!

Stayed here while attending deckhand school at HCCC. Rooms were nice, and room service was professional. Breakfasts were quality as far as hotels go. Only reason I give 4 stars is because I got an ear infection from swimming in the pool. It caused an abcess in my ear that was extremely painful to have treated.

Their room rates are all over the place. Two days apart, same method of securing a room with same lead time yet $70 difference in cost. They confirmed my rate of 2 days earlier yet wouldn't budge on the price, much less meet it. I went to another hotel chain in Vicksburg and had a good night sleep without paying exorbitant rates. I probably won't be back, why should I when there is another hotel close by that has a good rate.

The issue I have with this place is the "BREAKFAST PERSONAL"...THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE ALREADY...The skinny tall black lady has been denying older people a banana... Just because it isn't 6am.. It was 5.55am.... All the food is out already but yet it was 5.55... Then she stands there and looks at you like a Hawkeye... What is it with the BREAKFAST PERSONAL. They act like it's there food, snacks, coffee.... They fail to realize it is people like us who keeps theses places open.... This morning a older lady and her friend were drinking coffee and one went to get a banana... The Breakfast PERSONAL told her to put it back just because it wasn't 6.am on the dot.... That's very uncalled for and very unprofessional.... I went up there got the lady her banana and gave it to her.. These establishment are supposed to be a place away from home but sadly not.... We travel 95% of on the road due to our employment, but these places like that Hampton need to have better employees... The lady needed a banana due to her being a diabetic and gets treated like crap... Hampton needs to do better...
