I have stayed in Brookhaven Mississippi dozens of times and have never understood why the hotels in this area are so expensive compared to hotels in other areas. The two best hotels in Brookhaven are the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn Express directly across the street. They are comparable, but the Holiday Inn has recently been renovated. The Hampton Inn needs renovation. When you use the Hilton app or website to book your room, it shows photographs of renovated rooms. This is not accurate. IMO those photographs should not be posted until the renovations are being completed which according to staff will be this coming year. The staff here is friendly and helpful and the rooms are quiet.

Clean room, very comfortable bed. Only stayed overnight but the breakfast selection was better than any other hotel I have stayed at. The sliced smoked sausage was fantastic!

Racist hotel and no respect for veterans I won't stop until the person who denied my wife a room based on her color which was abundantly obvious is held accountable. People don't know who they pick battles with but they are about to find out that you don't mess with veterans. People who fought for all of us to be here safe no matter what the color is . And to deny her the use of her Hilton rewards but let the lady that was not black use hers. Inexcusable. I am and always have been a believer in love and treat people how you want to be treated but to be treated like your nothing because you can is disgraceful. I was born and bread in Mississippi and to still after moving away for 20 years and it's the same racism is mind boggling. Hate is ungodly and whether you believe in god or not he believes in you and doesn't like hate and those who hate will never see the Gates...

I stayed for 2 nights, front desk was friendly when I checked in and out ! Breakfast was free however it wasn’t that good, at least the hot stuff wasn’t ! When I arrived to my room I noticed there was hair EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. Hair was in the sink on the floor in clumps and pieces on the towels, bath tub, and toilet! The bathroom was so GROSS. It seemed as if it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks, there was a build up of dust on the light switch covers. I called down to the front desk to be sure my room is cleaned the next day since I had already taken a shower and it was late. Front desk said they would make that happen, when I returned to my room the next day after being out the bathroom was half ssa cleaned what seemed like even more hair was in the bathroom!

I should just leave zero stars. Pool wasn’t open and it was hot outside. I also left with red welts on my legs and arm that I didn’t have before I arrived. They look a lot worse in person and are very painful.
