While the front desk staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable, we’ve certainly stayed in much nicer places for much less than the $180+ that we paid here. The desk chair in our room was noticeably filthy, the soap dish was dirty and the vent next to the elevator on the first floor had significant mold/mildew. There was a variety of items for breakfast, but it was mediocre at best. Hampton in Batesville, MS—do better for the price!

FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL.
Pros-
Breakfast was ok. Bed was comfortable (but looked gross)
Cons-
-THERE WAS A IBUPROFEN 200MG on the bathroom floor. Absolutely unacceptable. I have a 15 month old and it is terrifying that housekeeping left a dangerous (to a baby) pill on the floor.
-The tub was moldy and gross. See pics.
-The bedding looked nasty. See pics. Looked like dried blood.
-Hallways smelled bad. It did smell better in the lobby at least.

When I arrived for check in my original room had been given away apparently by someone who claimed to have been the same name as me. Front desk did not check ID, for neither me nor whoever he gave my room to. Elevator is completely broken. When I woke up the next morning I noticed bed bugs! Front desk said they hadn’t had any complaints of those in a while…. & told us to let them know if we saw any more.. don’t you worry, we immediately grabbed all of our things and left. What a tragic way to start my birthday. Terrible experience. My child now has bites all over her!!

This hotel apparently had not been updated or upgraded since the 90's. The elevator was in disrepair, rooms were small and the carpets in the hallway and in the rooms were stained and smelly.
