Overall a good hotel but just some things that really made the stay a little below average compared to what I would expect from the Flagship hotel brand in the Hilton Family of hotels. The Good: 1. Location is amazing. Right across the street from the ball park and easy walk to everything you could want to do in Downtown. 2. Secure building. The elevators require a key to get to any floor. Makes you feel much safer. 3. Onsite amenities. Very good nice bar and restaurant. The Bad: 1. The ceiling in the bathroom was really short. I am 5’ 11” not super tall but I could touch the ceiling in the bathroom by just reaching up. And it was worse in the shower which was a step up. It just felt claustrophobic in there. 2. The water pressure was horrible. You had to stand close to the shower head to even be in the water. Not to mention the temperature control was odd and took a while to figure out. 3. The dresser drawer would not stay closed. I barked my shin on it in the dark. 4. The rooms just felt dingy and old. There was wear on the furniture that wouldn’t expect to see in a Hilton Hotel. Overall just a disappointing stay but the view was perfect.

Staff was great, lobby was great, executive lounge was great. Great location. However, the room was unacceptable for this level of hotel. I am a Hilton Diamond member and stay at many hotels. Obviously buildings age, but you can replace ceiling tiles pretty easily. This is just really bad maintenance practices.

Beautiful hotel proximate to many of the areas that are near the ballpark. It's a good launch point for anything in the downtown area and a good conference space. Sitting next to the St. Louis arch and Dred Scott hotel, you understand you are sitting with history. This visit was part of a large conference, so the 4 star rating to small things that could have been improved. First of all, the facility felt like it was ice freezer cold. The air was set for a temperature that should be reserved for 90 degree weather and high humidity It was unseasonably warm outside, but far from the air temperatures that were needed, particularly since we spent almost all of our time inside. Most of us continued to wear winter garb because it was so incredibly cold, even when they bumped up the temperature. Service was friendly, but not always helpful, meaning that folks would give their service with a smile and what I thought was genuine kindness, but were not especially helpful with knowledge. So, for instance giving directions in a really big hotel saying something is around the corner, when it would be around the corner, down a hall and 3 floors up. Food options were good and quite tasty. Room was spacious and as clearly shown in my pictures, I had a view to remember. I think they aim for that option in most cases and I'm grateful for that priority. My TV was broken, something that the front desk was willing to fix immediately (but I honestly did not want them to come at 10am at night). The only way to have fixed this would to have discovered the problem prior to check in, because I was only staying for two nights and did not want to deal with a fix for the limited time I was in the room. With that said, I can't speak to TV options, including streaming options. Probably the kicker was that the shower took almost 10 minutes to warm up and since I was persistently chilled, taking a luke warm shower was frustrating. .

Lovely views and inches from the ballpark, but it feels like an older hotel with more capacity than they can really maintain. When I got to my room the thermostat didn't have batteries and the heat was stuck on at 85. The thermostat also was disconnected from the unit. The shower is difficult to turn on and because the tap was loose I had to call maintenance again. There's no fan in the bathroom and the steam makes the smoke alarm mounted directly outside the door go crazy. No channel guide in the room and the TV's clock wasn't set so the electronic one didn't work either. The clock in the room was set to the right time but the wrong time zone, which is very disorienting while traveling. All in all between room and parking, you're looking at $300/night to stay here. Since you can throw a stone in any direction and bounce it off 3 other hotels, I find it hard to imagine you couldn't do better.

Very decent hotel for St Louis, MO. Good food and drink options in the hotel. The rooms are comfortable with nice window light. The thing that boggles my mind is the lack of working wifi in the rooms. I’ve stayed in two different rooms last month and have never gotten wifi speed above 5-mbps. I called the front desk who kept sending me to Spectrum and has no idea why I’m talking to them. Front desk said they’d send someone to look at it but never do. My second stay I couldnt turn off the AC. A guy came and took off the panel blocking the AC unit to switch to heat. I find out the split unit is covered in mold.
