Location is near the casino, Arch, and downtown area. Price with extra for parking was acceptable. The hotel had issues with vaping inside the hotel. The main hallways and Elevators smelled like pot.

No towels at the pool. My 2 and 4 year old were done swimming and had to use the bathroom. I called the front desk and was told they would bring them down. After 30 minutes still no one. I called the front again and was told the person is busy doing something and it would be "a minute". I saw staff walking by and no one brought any. I eventually saw a maintenance person walking by and asked him after waiting an hour. Try telling your 2 and 4 year old to hold it for an hour while they're cold from getting out of a cold pool. I could've let them go #2 in the pool or let them track water throughout the halls but I was trying to be courteous despite staff not caring.

Pretty solid Hampton Inn. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a nice view of the arch from the top floor. Staff pretty friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, nothing special but good. They are VERY strict about closing at 9am on the dot, so get up early.
Biggest negative is the location. If you don’t have a very specific reason to be right there I don’t recommend it. All abandoned storefronts, lots of homeless individuals. Walking distance to the arch, sure, but those few blocks make a big difference.

Maybe we just had a bad room and the rest of the hotel is great. Stains everywhere, peeling paint, faucet in tub/shower ran water constantly. Toilet tank didn’t refill half the time after flush. No shampoo. Hotel lobby smelled like cigarette smoke because employees smoked right outside. Hotel is very old and needs renovating desperately.

Only writing this review because of how amazing the staff here are. Came for a two day trip with my kiddos and we love the pool, arcade & breakfast. The parking sucks-$30 a day is really too much considering the price increase for events but that’s my only complaint! Rooms were clean & housekeeping was on it! Front desk ladies loved them & super helpful. Will be back!
