Honestly a bit disappointed. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and check-in took forever. The room was fine but not what I expected from a Hilton property. Hoping management addresses these issues.

We live in St. Louis and often book rooms when we get a sitter to just feel like we’re getting away. Normally the pool or location is the selling point. We chose this room over union station due to it being advertised as covered parking on the 3rd party site we used and when we arrived the parking was 49$ and valet only. (Union station parking is a little cheaper but the location is beautiful so it makes up for tht. )Although we can get our vehicle any time we need it , that’s the worst inconvenience ever and it’s left me confined to the room w no amenities other than breakfast and a dirty pool. So pretty much a waste. No swimming and we were stuck in the room bc we don’t wanna wait on valet to get our car each time we want to leave. The room has no tub. Only a shower it looks incomplete and uncomfortable. The restaurant inside the hotel has gross food DO NOT get the pizza —Thats normal but we were depending on it since we were forced to get valet parking. It’s so crazy. Don’t book this hotel bc it looks like a deal bc it really isn’t and by the time u pay $200 for one night you might as well just get the better room. Spend the extra money and do better
Thank me later
also smoke free which is fine I usually get in my car and go for a ride when I want to smoke but can’t do tht here since they have my car. This stay has ended our tradition of booking rooms in town bc of how unsatisfying it was We will never do this again. Next time we re going to spend a little
More and just go out of town.

Bed bugs - experienced multiple areas of bites from my stay. I expected better from an embassy suites property. Reported to customer service, and waiting to hear back from the general manager.
Room had a periodic whistling noise - not sure if it was hvac, or appliance related. Poor bathroom design and execution - no active ventilation, leading to excessive humidity. Shower with low flow rate and insufficient water pressure. Shower width is narrow, making movement restricted by the glass and tile walls. Narrow width of the shower is exacerbated by the placement of the vertical grab bar, further restricting movement. The shower door is not sealed appropriately, leading to water escaping to the bathroom floor creating a safety issue. The bathroom door opens into the glass shower door, and swing clearance on the toilet (with the bathroom entry door) is surprisingly small. The bathroom drawers have no liners, and are stained from spills.
Staff appears to be ~50% recent hires, with insufficient supervision and management (a minority share of the staff was great). Too many staff members with their phones out and/or ignoring customers, standing in customers' way in hallways (phone in one hand, duster in another), watching video content on their phones with full volume in front of customers (breakfast), not greating customers between the front door and elevators (some valets stairing at phones, obstructing restictive stairway/walkway at entrance), and loud personal conversations in a lobby with insufficient sound dampening... these are 2-star hotel behaviors and conditions.
Drawers in the bedroom do not operate smoothly. Ironing board was in a state of disrepair, leading to calling the front desk for replacement and waiting many rings for an answered call.
No on-site parking and no next-door overnight parking. You're either paying ~$49/ night for valet, or $35/night a block away while walking along sidewalks littered with garbage, bird waste, and human waste.
Not a 4-star hotel experience. Not a family-friendly area of town.
