My family and i have stayed here numerous times, we spend thousands of dollars every year when we come into town. In October, one of the employees checked me in, without giving me a room key (which i didnt realize until we went to carry everything in) then later the same employee called my cell phone from his personal cell phone, then proceeded to text me inappropriately, once i blocked his number, month later he reached out to me on Facebook. I asusmed it was done and we continued to stay and have o ly seen this employee once or twice since then and his obsession with me has escalated to him harassing me when we check in etc. I finally brought this to the hotels attention on Dec 29th, bc he started to harrass me as soo as i started to check in (with a different employee) we are on our way back from a long week at an off road park and i made my reservation for the hotel, for them to call me 2 hours before check in and say i cannot stay there? No reason given, weve never had any complaints for any of our numerous stays but we're no longer allowed tk stay since i brought up the inappropriate conduct of their employee since it continually escalated. I dont understand why the company is so willing to protect an employee who decided to sexually harass a paying customer. And not provide an actual reason as to why i am no longer "allowed" to stay there with no previous issues with past stays. Single women traveling, be warned. The employees name is Nasir Islam and hes always working the front desk

Honestly, this place was a great find. The price is super cheap for what you get, but the quality definitely doesn’t feel budget at all. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, and everything looks nice and organized. The staff were really friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed.
The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall vibe of the place was calm and welcoming. For such an affordable price, the service and experience were way better than expected. I felt well taken care of during my stay and had no complaints at all. I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place that won’t break the bank.

Overall, if you can choose another option, it is better than this run down, awful smelling, poorly kept hotel. We will not ever stay here or at any other Staybridge hotel again, no matter the cost. The management and owners of this hotel should be ashamed to own and run such a rundown hotel.
Upon entering in the hotel, there is a certain unclean smell. The check in process was easy and quick and you get a bag with a single water and a single bag of chips that you chose from. Going into the elevator, there is dirt and grime in the elevator rail at the bottom like it was not cleaned in months. We originally stayed in room 207. Going down the hall on the second floor the smell changed to a worse smell, like a mixture of cigarettes and marijuana and the floor appeared to not have been vacuumed in days. When we got inside the room, the doors were filthy like they have not ever been wiped down, the room itself reeked of the same smell in the hallway and it was stuffy like the AC wasn't turned on. The floors were very sticky and the room was really run down. There was grout missing in both bathrooms and the tubs were gross. The sofa cushions were stained and there is a big stain on the chair in the king bedroom as well. Some of the light switches didn't turn on anything and we were told it is because that is how it is, use the lamp switches. I went to ask for a cleaner room but they were out of this type of room (king bedroom common area, 2 double beds) for the night and we couldn't be moved until the next day.
I went to Walmart for cleaning supplies so that we could clean it with cleaner before putting our stuff inside. We did ask for them to mop the floors, wipe down the doors and fix the broken bathroom door handle. The cleaning guy was responsive but the door handle wasn't ever fixed. At night and the next morning, every so often there was this loud sound, almost like a tug boat sound and we thought it was the elevator but the elevator was on the other side so we could not figure out where the sound was coming from. When the AC came on it was really loud. The closet to the AC was open and you could see the filter was in need of a desperate change and it was just overall not maintained.
The next morning, I asked again to be moved to a cleaner room. They said they would move us and I asked for a clean room that did not have a loud ac or any other loud noises. That afternoon, we were called to let us know the room was ready. The new room number was 141. The hallway smelled a bit better and was a little cleaner but not by much. The room itself had a lot of the same issues, the floor was somewhat sticky, the doors and light switches were completely gross, there were stains on the master bed sheet that was noticed after the fact, stain on the pillow in the closet, broken tiles in the bathroom and a missing knob on the ac unit. The missing knob on the AC unit was quickly rectified and I cleaned all of the surfaces that we had the potential to be touched besides the floor.
Unfortunately , when I called other hotels in the area and they were not able to accommodate for our needs all of the nights or we would have immediately moved. We were stuck.
I went to do laundry in their free laundry room one of the nights. Every washer had clothes sitting in them. One of the washer actually had washed clothes just sitting there. The dryers all had wet clothes in them just sitting there waiting to be turned on. One sat so long it appeared to be wet clothes dried in place. I went back a little bit later and only one washer was empty with a gross "surprise" at the bottom.
The kids and husband ate once in the breakfast area and it was edible but definitely not like at other hotels. The eggs were swimming in water, the waffle batter was super watery. I had to wipe down a table for them to sit at since there was not someone wiping tables as people were leaving to make room for new guests to eat at a clean table.
In conclusion, STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL! Not worth the money for the condition of the hotel.
Wasn't too please. We got a room with a pull out couch because we had our kids with us. Naturally the mattress didn't have linens, we requested a sheet, blanket and 2 pillows. We were given a top sheet and a weird blanket (not comforter). We asked about pillows and they said they were "done" with pillows, I assume that meant they were out which seems odd because usually hotels have at least some extra pillows on hand as back up. Because we were given a top sheet we couldn't get it to stay on the bed and we didn't want to sleep on a bare mattress.
The normal bed was a queen but the frame was a king so we kept banging out legs on the frame that jutted out past the mattress, it also made it difficult to get in/out of bed. The room with the bed also had no overhead light. It had a single lamp in the furthest corner on the other side of the bed, so that was fun (that's when we met the bedframe). The bathroom door also did not latch so that was a not so pleasant surprise.
Also the SMELL. Dear lord theinurs you walk in you are bombarded by this perfume/air freshener that practically burns your eyes it's so potent. Then you get to the halls and it smells horrible, like pot and possibly old trash.
We got that alllll for an extra $40 a night compared to a hotel next door, so needless to say we'll probably stay elsewhere 🤷 it's bummer because overall the room was nice.

Our stay at the Staybridge Suites in O’Fallon, MO was overall a very good experience, and the way the staff handled everything truly stood out.
We did experience a noise issue that seemed to be mechanical or some sort of deep reverbing noise traveling through the walls, not from other guests. Unfortunately, there was no maintenance staff available at the time, but management stepped in immediately and handled the situation the best way possible. They were professional, understanding, and even discounted our stay, which was greatly appreciated. We felt heard and genuinely taken care of.
The room could use a little updating, but it was still a very comfortable stay. We traveled with five kids, and the two-bedroom suite with one king and two double beds fit our family perfectly. The space made a huge difference for our comfort. The location is also great, close to nice restaurants, the outlet mall, and Chesterfield. If you don’t mind a short drive from St. Louis, this location offers excellent value and space.
The highlight of our stay was Jackie, the breakfast cook and server. Jackie is a wonderful, sweet woman who truly embodies hospitality. She took time to sit and have a conversation with my wife and me, and that personal connection meant a lot. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our morning and our entire stay memorable. The maple bourbon syrup and the scones were awesome 😉 If we’re ever in the area, or even just looking for a reason to stay again, it would be just to speak with Jackie.
Thank you to Jackie and the entire Staybridge staff for your professionalism, kindness, and for taking such great care of our family.
