I just want to say my husband and I have been staying here since 2024. Our interactions with Barbra are always above and beyond. She’s one of the most professional managers we’ve encountered. It’s a relief to be greeted with a smile all the time. She always make us feel welcomed every stay. When she walk the hotel she is even checking on guests…she’s great! We saw new faces a lot of them matter of fact. A young man helped me a few times I think he said DeWuan, very nice young man. The other lady that was there with red hair at the desk she was nice but not what I was use to at the desk. She was a bit too flirty with my husband and her group conversation on her phone was not work related. Breakfast ladies were nice as usual. The room needed more detailed cleaning. Housekeeping has definitely declined in cleaning. I forgot the young lady that helped us at check out but she our interaction with was great.

There is plenty to recommend this hotel, beginning with its staff.
Our first encounter was with Aaniye. Her cheerful and positive attitude could not have made for a better introduction to the hotel. The next morning, when we hoped to upgrade to a suite, we got the right person on our side in Marqueeda. Although the register showed no suites available, she and the most helpful manager worked together and assured me that they would find something. And they did. And it is appreciated.
The room we had was good, with a full kitchen and a king suite. The bed was good for both me and my wife.
There is one quirk to the suite design. Both the toilet and sink are behind the bedroom door. And the light switch to the toilet is outside the door to the toilet.
So anyone using the bathroom at night briefly disturbs their partner with a light before they get the door closed. So we left a phone in the bathroom overnight to use as a night light.
(Edit: We switched to a two-queen sweet during our stay and it lacks the bathroom light quirk, making the toilet and sink much easier to use with ought disturbing your partner. The kitchen counter also seemed more spacious.)
And I moved my toothbrush and toiletries out to the kitchen sink since I wake up earlier than my wife.
There are a number of USB ports built into lamps around the room. And even the kitchen sink outlet came with a double USB brick. Nice touches there.
There are many recycling bins around the hotel, which I value.
Breakfast had the usual hot and cold items. One switch from the usual was grits instead of oatmeal. My wife, who is from the Deep South, said they are made the right way and are very good.
Several breakfast tables had USB ports.
The hotel is very clean.
The guest Laundry is free, which is a first for me.
And the heated indoor pool wasn’t quite warm enough for someone from south Florida.
There is an adjacent, good restaurant with a wide selection menu.

Stayed in room 216. The room smelled like sewage coming from the garbage disposal (even though we never used the garbage disposal and tried to dump soap down it to help the smell). It was sort of manageable for the first couple days but it got much, much worse the last 2 days. My husband and I woke up with headaches each day. When we asked to move, the lady at the front desk said there were no other rooms available, though we later learned there had been. Finally, on the last night, we were able to move to a different room and received points to help offset the experience. Randy at the front desk was very kind and understanding, but I would definitely not recommend that anyone stay in room 216 until they’ve fixed the problem.
