My wife and I attended our church anniversary banquet. The meeting space was nice and food was pretty good too. We decided to stay overnight and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The room was a bit worn, but comfortable, and there were issues with the bathroom faucet. The good news is that there is a major renovation underway so things will be even nicer when it's completed. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful.

I stay there a lot and in others like St. Louis and this one the water wouldn’t shut off when I showered and was filling up fast as the drain could not keep up for such a long time , they have no maintenance man ? Had to go down and hunt some guy ? Had to move ! Hotel is dirty but the price is crisp high ? Couldn’t use my rewards and the desk people always have an attitude and I believe could give a better price if they like you or you are a particular color ? The Elevators look to have not been cleaned in years ? Smells ? 2.50$ for a bottle of water that’s out of a 3.98 48 pack 🤣 ? Customer service is almost non existent ! But they are good at charging you ? Yea as others here said breakfast I assumed was not such a big charge ? Maybe they should tell u upfront because I seen some as I said before the same color as the desk clerks eat with their room ? I worry about parking here is it safe ? No wake up calls , really nothing at all about customer service ? I stayed in St. Louis just recently by the airport and it was good ! You know even with all these things this review could have been better be it that the employees were more fair and treat everybody the same

The hotel is undergoing renovation, thank goodness because the room is stayed in was rough to say the least. I've stayed at nicer Super 8's, the carpet was VERY stained the furniture was visibly worn down and the couch was also stained, the grout in the bathroom was filthy and there was actually a cigarette burn mark in the bottom of my bathtub. Hopefully the reno will breathe some freshness into this Hilton Garden Inn.

I scheduled a suite for 4 with a separate bedroom and bathroom. It had a kitchenette that included a dining room table with 4 dinning room chairs, L shaped couch that seated 6 to 8 people, a desk with an office chair, a stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and fully equipped kitchen with pans dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. We planned to celebrate my granddaughter's 7th birthday with her. I booked it online. Then I called to confirm everything I saw on their website was true. I was very pleased to hear it was! I was told my room number and everything about the amenities were in order for what was planning and I started planning for appetizers, finger foods, and charcuterie boards. Just a few little decorations with unicorns and such I order her cake and picked up drinks for5 children. I invited my sons' family of 3, I invited my sister's familyof 3, included myself, my husband my granddaughter and grandson. Everyone else in her family had been to a previous birthday party the week before, that my husband, and a few family members were unable to attend. I specifically asked about their pool and regulations about invited family to spend time with us. They were fine with that. So I went on making my plans, calling family members. The morning of our arrival I got a call from one of the staff that our room had to be changed because our suit had a leak that needed to be repaired and wouldn't be ready in time. I told them everything I needed and why. They guaranteed we were being upgraded to a room across the hall from the pool that had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, desk and chair an 2 queen beds and chair, it was an upgrade on the first floor. I was very hesitant and told them it doesn't sound like an upgrade to me, it actually sounds like a downgrade. So i changed my menu and canceled the appetizers and finger foods with no oven access, and bought bbq and sandwich makings. They guaranteed me against was an upgrade. Not only was it a downgrade, I was humiliated and embarrassed that there was not a couch for 6 and no dinning table or 4 chairs. No oven, no place for our family to sit, a bar size fridge that did even have room for just drinks. When I told them how upsetting it was they just looked at me like I was being unreasonable. No price reduction for the change of the downgrade, humiliation, and inadequate accommodations. I had given them every detail beforehand and I was completely disregarded at checkout. I was so shocked at the lack of concern for their guest. When I left I looked back at the building and realized they had a renovation shoot going to the 2nd floor, which was where the suite was I first booked. I felt i had been lied to about everything from the leak to the "upgrade"! My frustration with this and the lack of concern to complete me a better room than what I asked for and what I got, is why I am speaking out. They knew when I called they had the opportunity to tell me the truth. But they didn't want to loose the booking. I really wish they knew how to tell the truth, not lie, and properly accommodate their customers. Lying about the availability of the 2nd floor suit was very calculated and dishonest! My family had to sit on beds to eat. 8 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids. So very disappointed!

We arrived exhausted from a long trip. The hotel as soon as we walked in was musty and ladders were strewn all over the reception area. Staff was rude and not friendly. We weren't told that the hotel was under construction. The room I choose was not the room given. The room was subpar. It was dirty. There were broken pretzels all on the floor near the bed, the furniture was all banged up, the TV was crooked, there were multiple hairs in a scraped up shower tub. The carpets were all cut and torn up on the sides and corners. There was mold on the tiles, the noise from the construction was loud. We got charged twice for our pet fee. We paid for breakfast we didn't get to eat due to the fact it was not only 30 min late being out our, as I was getting coffee, both myself and husband heard the cook and server talking about moldy food and how it was molded from the inside out and should they throw it away. When I contacted the hotel they told me there was nothing they could do until next week. That is totally unacceptable to tell a guest you can't address the issue for over three days. The total stay for one night was over 400 dollars!!!! And I just joined Hilton honors and there was nothing honorable about this stay.
