Great overall, however if you're looking to eat at the restaurant downstairs after happy hour is over, you HAVE to sit at the bar. They don't even acknowledge you if you sit at a table. I made eye contact and said hello to the server/bartender but she still ignored me for another 15 minutes while every single person at the bar was served another drink, asked if they needed anything, other tables started going to the bar for their drinks and forming a line and I just said forget it.

I am not sure even where to start. We had our marriage retreat at the hotel. From the beginning it was a struggle. The event manager did a horrible job with communication - my emails and phones calls were not returned for weeks at a time. Finally about 2 weeks before the event, we learn that he's no longer with the company and we were going to work with the hospitality director. I felt comfortable until she started being distant in her communication. We had an issue where one of my guests forgot to book her room. The director had me to tell my guest to to book at regular price and she would change it for her. I left multiple voicemails & emails to find out what to do so we could get her booked, this director NEVER contacted me back, even as I write this, she never got back to me. Now, I get to the hotel to set up for the event. The front desk lady Stacy is super sweet and she tries to help with the guest who didn't book. We go to the meeting rooms to set up and one room is still dirty with coffee and drinks from a previous meeting. I mention it to the staff. The man gave me some gloves and a towel with bleach on it and a regular towel for me to do it myself. I thought WOW! This is different. I asked for trash cans so we can throw away our trash and the staff started huffing and puffing talking about we are asking for trash cans. I thought that was part of the setup, if there's an event, there's probably going to be trash. All of this happened and then I find out, they don't even have me down to be there for an event that day. The man in back said you don't need food and beverage today, and yes, I agreed but I wanted to know if I'm setting up, why would I want to set up in a dirty room. However, food and beverage got on their job and made things nice for us. I had to send over all my emails to the a front desk worker to prove that we were indeed supposed to be there in the 18, 19, 20, & 21. The hospitality director had not given them proper information about our event. Instead of me hosting my event and leading my group I spent hours at the front desk trying to to prove I had rights to the space. And also trying to make sure my guests had correct room rates. Several of them did not. We made it through the event and my group had a great time. But the service we received was HORRIBLE!!! The rooms were equally as bad. I had guests who needed to change rooms because it was so bad. One couple came to me furious because whoever cleaned their room took a crap in the bathroom while cleaning! Gross and horrible There was a water leak next to our room and the smell lasted for days. I was told to speak with the general manager on Monday and after hunting him down for 2 hours, he finally spoke with me and it appeared that he really cared about how my experience was. He did comp our room for the next few days which was nice BUT he was supposed to contact me back after he checked into things and he never did...he told me that either he or another person Tiana would contact me back, and I'm still waiting. That was September 21, 2025, it's October 3, 2025, I'm all the way in AZ and I still haven't heard back. I'm only assuming that comping the room was good enough to shut me up. We have this marriage retreat with the Hilton brand every time we do it. This has been by far the worst experience we've ever encountered. Food and beverage, the manager, Robert, was excellent! He did go above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of once he figured out we were supposed to be there. He was kind and very professional. The front desk staff - Stacy, Ellyot, & Ramona, were very kind. But everything else was unacceptable! Even the workers at the bar were awful. I wanted to tell her one worker that she should have just called in if she didn't want to work. The attitudes were awful and stank!! One of the workers ate our food and had the nerve to ask where did we get it from. How gross is that! I would never return to do business with Embassy Suites. Embassy Suites has always been my hotel of choice but this has changed my mind.
