Paula H at Starbucks was fantastic. On one morning, she handled lines out the door with speed, grace, and a smile. Most times she wasn’t busy and she was a joy to talk to. She gave me so many great ideas of things to do that were tailored to my interests. The coffee was always perfect, and the pizza was delicious (the onions were even a bit caramelized). The store had a surprisingly large selection of convenience items and gifts.
I enjoyed the hike by the waterfall and appreciate the lady (forgot her name) who helped me with insider information on that.
The rooms, amenities, and location are great. The people make it even better.

*4 stars for the staff/condo*
*1 star for the manager of the "facility tour" and his deceitful sales tactics*
The location on Roark Valley Rd was lovely! The condo was a 1 bedroom with a separate living room and full kitchen. There was an accessible balcony which was also cool.
Everything was clean, well maintained, and the staff was SUPER nice and helpful.
The only complaint is the concierge desk gives you your parking pass and offers you a ticket to a "tour" of the facilities the next morning. DO NOT ACCEPT. It is a timeshare presentation. They will make you believe they are giving you a fantastic deal on a timeshare that you can use ANYTIME during the year as long as you call to book within 30 days of your planned stay. What they do not tell you is that if you try to book anything after February of any year, you will be charged $700 for that reservation. The tour is NOT WORTH the $100 gift card you get for sitting through the hours long sales pitch.

The thing that made this stay so enjoyable was the absolute stellar service. The greeters and the person checking us in were amazing. They didn’t pressure us to do a timeshare event although it was offered to us they understood that our time did not allow for it and so they did not make us feel pressured to attend. We received a personal text from the concierge’s stating that if we needed anything during the day to reach out to this number. And we had to use it, and they replied immediately. We were even able to help our friends book a room while we were at our conference through using the Text messaging concierge service. It was amazing.

We signed up for a discounted 3 night stay with an obligation for a 90 minute timeshare sales presentation on one morning of the visit.
Overall, our one bedroom villa was a little outdated and I had to do a bit of a wipe down with the counter and table, but it was generally clean—just a bit older. Well worth it for the discounted cost of the stay.
The timeshare presentation was supposed to be 90 minutes but ended up 2.5 hours; however, we overall enjoyed the experience learning about timeshares and seeing the property. Our salesperson wasn’t overly pushy and though two other people were brought in at the end to try to convince us with discounts to purchase, they ultimately accepted our no graciously. They were nice to us and our kids, and we felt like we’d had a pleasant morning with free coffee included.
While a timeshare isn’t for us at this time, I think Westgate presents it well and they have some very kind staff at this location. The views from the rooms are gorgeous, and the onsite activities especially for older kids are really well curated. 4/5 only because our room wasn’t quite as clean as I would have liked.

Think of the 1950s. Outdated and rude. The location was selected for business purposes. It was nothing short of a disaster from beginning to end. I enjoyed being lied to and blatantly treated less than. The staff chose to be rude and unaccomadating. It started with stares from the other individuals there like a weird “get out” way. The staff was obviously not very well trained and had almost no knowledge of how to use their own equipment… while also not wanting to have aid from me…when stating my experience I was then made to feel as if I should just be grateful to be in the room. They definitely felt like I should have been a part of staff and even made sure to put me in the farthest darkest corner of the resort. It was very clear that I was not welcome, even though, I was there for 3 days. If I had any other option I would have never subjected myself or my son to the sheer insanity we endured on that resort. Completely not surprised… when you think it can’t get worse… and they had bugs…
