This hotel was accommodating, all the staff were friendly. The breakfast was probably the best continental breakfast I have ever had. The food was great and the person in charge of it was fabulous. Ms Sharon definitely cares about the satisfaction of the guests. Please give her an accommodation and a raise.

The staff are fabulous, so kind and helpful, especially Sharon, she one in a million. The Manager/ gentleman at the front desk was our only bad experience, he just seem very cold and rude. I know with the snowstorm their were lots of people, but no need to take it out on us. Otherwise this hotel is the best. Will definitely recommend it to our family and friends

Great location , great staff , great rooms. Shuttle to Mayo . True story , I missed the shuttle so was going to call a uber . The manager say wait a second calls upstairs then tells me he will bring me just wait out front for him. I thought how kind that he was going to drop me on his way out , nope when I got back to the hotel he was there working . He left just to give me a ride to Mayo. That is going way above and beyond for service . They have free laundry you just provide your detergent. Plus they have socials a few nights a week for guest with free wine and beer and a dinner. My only complaint/ suggestion to the hotel is to work on the food at the restaurant more choices , And a better burger , ditch the frozen patty and make a fresh beef burger.

Was a nice stay. They advertised free breakfast. When checking in the guy gave me one ticket which was good for 1 breakfast. I was staying 3 days. I said something and he gave me 1 more. I asked shouldn't I have 3? He said only a no. The breakfast wasn't anything to brag about. The 2nd morning I sat and waited over 20 minutes while the hostess was chatting with another employee. I went to the front desk and asked about breakfast and she said there is breakfast this morning and went and told the hostess to serve me. I almost missed to shuttle to the mayo clinic fir an appointment! Then there was a group of very noisy kids in the hotel. Must have been some kind of competition going on. Not the hotels fault these kids wee unruly. But the hotel didn't enforce anything with them. Kids yelling up down the hall way at past 10:30 at night.

READ FIRST if you are driving a car into town for the first time. Don’t expect front desk to answer your calls for more than 10 minutes when you need help, because they prioritize lines of people in person. I do not recommend this as a first time place for stressed or elderly Mayo patients driving into town. Facility is new. Rooms are nice. Signage and technology is confusing, as there is a large sign pointing to the right to the underground garage entrance that says, “Hotel registration.” You are not to go there first, because you need a room key and pay $20 for access to garage. I saw someone else besides myself confused by this signage, and had to back out of the single lane entrance. You actually need to go LEFT of the sign, the opposite direction of the pointing arrow, and there is space to park next to the building entrance for registration. Pay attention to what floor you park in the garage. When you check out remotely via TV, do NOT leave your room key in the room. Take room keys down until you leave the garage, there is a key drop box at the exit (like where you insert a ticket before driving out). The elevators are encased by locked doors that unlock 2 ways: wave hand OR room key depending on time of day. Both my and my mother’s hand waves did not work, maybe we we were too close? But nobody and no sign was around to show us the correct wave or distance. When we checked out, we went to the wrong garage floor. The lobby is floor 2. We accidentally went down to floor -1, when we should have gone to floor 0. We exited the locked doors and our hand waves did not work, and we had no room key to get back to the elevator, because we left the room keys in the room during checkout. Front desk put us on hold for 10min before I could utter the word, “Help.” Ideally, I would’ve been able to say, “Help, we’re trapped.” They repeatedly put us back on hold before I could utter one word, even hanging up on me. We could not find staircases and ended up walking up the ramp to find our car, and thankfully the garage still opened to let us out. There is a key drop box by the garage exit. When I finally went in person to talk to front desk, they were sadly defensive, and treated me like I was the fool for not knowing the proper wave or procedure that was never explained during check-in, and expected me to understand that they were busy properly serving the line. Considering we were visiting Mayo for my mom’s cancer appointment, this was an unnecessary stress and lack of empathy.
