Best hotel within my price range. I have been staying at different hotels in Rochester for the past two years. This is by far the best!
The whole modern, comfortable and friendly atmosphere is a breath of fresh air compared to the old, run-down, stuffy, smelly hotels closer to the clinic.
If your travel arrangements make you arrive well before check-in time or well after check-out, the lobby offers a magnificent ample space where you can relax and/or work.
The room was the most comfortable and well-equipped room I have seen in town. Real kitchen utensils, cups and glasses (no cardboard or plastic). Lots of outlets all over the room to connect your devices!
The breakfast, although the usual menu you would find at any other similar hotel, had one thing that made it different: the quality of the ingredients (a special shout-out to Sharon, the breakfast lady!)
The staff is super-friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a shuttle to the clinic. I like walking so I just took a 15 minute walk there. The clinic has extended its tunnels so, you would need to walk just 5 blocks on the street and then down to a cozy, warm, well-lit tunnel.
The whole experience was beyond my expectations. Of course, I shall be staying at this hotel on my future visits to Rochester.

There is a spacious and well equipped work out room on site. The entertainment on the equipment worked as well. The equipment was clean.
The hotel suite had a very nice layout and was very comfortable. The tub and shower were old school but lots of hot water, good water pressure, and good drainage. Dove products in bathroom.
Restaurant on site had a good southwest salad.
Everyone was nice. Lots of people utilizing the common areas of the lobby.

So, we stayed here for a Mayo appointment, like most of the people in this hotel. It was close to Mayo and nice and new. There were a few glitches, the suite room had 2 very narrow rooms, and we were stuck on the first floor by the parking garage. When we arrived, which happened to be during a snowstorm, there were no parking spots in the garage, so we had to park on the street and feed a meter. The lighting in the hotel seems like they’re using fluorescent bulbs, and it could use some warm white light. The bed side lamp only worked occasionally, and the TV casting didn’t work, so we had to watch wherever was on basic cable. I know , I know, first world problems and all that. They text you and you’re supposed to get customer service, but they really didn’t help and even were a little jerky via text when I asked about getting a garage spot. If you’re a light sleeper, avoid room 131, maybe , because you can hear the heater going off and on in the garage. But! The water pressure in the shower-10/10. Most of the people that work here were awesome. So, I say skip the suite, the rooms are super tiny, and just get a regular room. Hotel manager, if you read this, please find a way to provide parking for everyone staying there. Maybe have extra parking available across the street or something, not 6 blocks away. The kitchenette was great to have too. Ok, that’s all I have.
