Terrible service! Right after we checked into our room we discovered that the shower light flickered on and off like a strobe so I sent a text to have this fixed. We received two text replies that assured us that this would be repaired such as, "They should be up soon--Nicholas M." However, no one ever came and this was never communicated. Because the bathroom fan was connected to the malfunctioning shower light, the room could not properly vent so after showering it felt like stepping out of a sauna. And the problems did not end there. When I asked the woman at the check-in desk for information about the nearby hospital, she rudely replied that "the entry is about 2-3 blocks away" then turned away. Next, the waitress at this hotel restaurant forgot to bring half of our dinner but made no attempt to rectify or compensate for her error, other than not charge us for the missing food. This was our first and will be our last visit to Staybridge Suites Hotels. I already contacted the manager, Nicholas Mack, and his reply was simply a generic form letter. Very disappointing!!
The building and rooms were so incredibly elegant. But they are nothing compared to the staff that became friends, encouragers and a much needed welcome home everyday. Social hour Monday-Wednesday and food at Even were a wonderful respite from meal planning. If we ever return to Mayo, this is the only place we will ever stay.

We love staybridge! We stay there for every overnight appointment. The staff are friendly and helpful! The rooms are immaculate and comfortable! The entire hotel gives you an upscale feeling! The location is central and everything you need is less than 10 minutes away. Lisa and Luanne went above and beyond for me and my friend! They both provided exemplary and professional service!

Fabulous property, clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Plenty of amenities. The gym was great, as was the breakfast! M-W evening snack and cocktails - another fabulous extra. The shuttle to Mayo, made things so much easier!
But the staff... this is where y'all really shine! Everyone was wonderful! I felt like a regular guest. LeAnn, Milton, Sharon, Jessica, LuAnn and Gen. Thank you all for making my stay amazing!!

My husband and I stay at Staybridge/EVEN hotel often, as we have family here, and this is our favorite hotel of all the ones we have tried out!
One of the key things that has made this place a staple for us, and loyal customers, is a young lady named Leann who works the front desk. She happens to be working at all hours, so we have gotten checked in by her nearly every time. What makes her a highlight for me, is that she doesn't just wear a customer service face with a fake cheery voice. She is authentically kind and welcome, without overdoing it. It has actually made me feel more at 'home' than any place I've stayed at.
I also work in management and one of the key focuses for our team, is authenticity, because it resonates stronger with people.
Now, I sadly write that yesterday I arrived and our favorite one was helping someone, so I waited in line as the other woman (who I now know to be named Luann I believe, older woman) was finishing up a call. She completed it and called me over, and asked me for details for check in, as I gave her my last name she just left. Left the desk, and I had no clue where to, but assumed maybe she needed something to access her work computer (only logical thing I could come up with for random human behavior of walking away with no communication) and then came back with a couple. I at first was confused as even that was awkwardly done, and at first thought she was introducing me to someone, only to find out that she needed to help them first cause she left them at a different place waiting this whole time.
Luckily in that time, the young woman was free and assisted me, but I was really put off by that mainly due to the poor communication/approach. I'm also not that picky of a person, but that made me feel like I'm not worth even basic acknowledgement. I hope this feedback can support growth in this area, and I would highly recommend for Leann to be an example for training. I think this young woman deserves to be paid more, as she really has that perfect balance of holding conversation without being too much or fake. I rarely engage in chit chat in these situations, as they all feel like scripts, but she has immediately made me feel like she truly wants engagement back-- so really wanted to make sure she gets highlighted!
