Our stay at this Home2 was awful. The place felt dirty and unsafe from the start. A few men hanging around the entrance made my girls uncomfortable with the way they were looking at them, and guests were smoking right by the doors. The breakfast was terrible — the eggs tasted bad and made me sick. The whole environment felt unwelcoming and poorly run. We won’t be coming back.

Very happy about our week's stay!
The shuttle drivers to Mayo were so kind. It's 15 minutes to the Gonda Building at Mayo. The front desk staff went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. There was free bottled drinking water and Granny Smith apples available at all times next to the front desk. There was also coffee, and hot water for tea or hot chocolate available in the lobby at all times at no charge. There are also snacks and other drinks in the cooler next to the front desk.
There is a Panera across the parking lot. Rochester has many nice restaurants within a short driving distance.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Belgian Waffles are a highlight.
The rooms were clean and modern.
We used the kitchenette as we purchased groceries from the nearby Trader Joe's. There is also a Hy-Vee grocery store and Walgreens close by.
There is a nice swimming pool and gym on the first floor.
And the bed was so comfortable! Huge TV. Everything worked.
The hotel sits next to the Zumbro River, and there is a walking and biking trail next to the hotel.
There is plenty of parking close to the door and underground parking is available.
The only cons were low water pressure and oppressively soft water. Oh, and the TV channel selection was a bit limited.

Everyone was so helpful during my stay. The shuttle drivers, Tim and Tim, truly went above and beyond.

Our family stayed here over MEA break. This hotel really hit the mark on all aspects.
Room: clean, spacious, lots of counter space, plenty of outlets and usb plugs. Very nice having the full size fridge/freezer combo.
Gym: smaller side, but typical for a hotel. Newer updated machines. I would recommend putting some spray cleaner and towels in there so everybody can wipe down machines when done using though.
Pool Area: my kids used it, they said water temp was fine. They did mention pool was in smaller side, but again, most hotels don’t have large pools anyway.
Breakfast: we stay in hotels frequently and having a quick decent breakfast is important. They had a good selection of hot foods, area was kept clean, and staff that was there attentive.
Service: Everyone that we had interactions was top notch. Friendly and helpful.
Parking: Outside parking was fairly full the first day we got there, so we checked out the underground parking they offer (free service) and that was basically empty. We parked there every night then to keep vehicle secure.
Overall: Great hotel and experience. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel in Rochester area. Very reasonable pricing. We liked that it wasn’t in the downtown area, but a short drive there.
