I've stayed at this Hilton four times and I used to be a huge fan of this hotel, I've raved about it to friends and family, until now, the moment I met the assistant manager Bruno. I arrived about 3 hours before check in and went straight to the front desk only to be greeted by Mr. doom and gloom Bruno. Not friendly or welcoming whatsoever, just how can I help you? Usually they say welcome to the Hilton but not this guy, just cold and unpleasant. I said I'm here to check in to my room, he says I don't have any rooms available right now. I've been traveling for 12 hours to get here. Can you please check? He says I can let you know in 30 minutes, well 3 hours went by and not once did this guy update or check on me. I sat on the couch in lobby for 3 hours fighting myself not to fall asleep. After 3 hours I finally went back to the front desk only to be greeted by this jerk Bruno again. I said hello I've been patiently waiting for 3 hours for my room. Can I please check in now. He finally gave me the keys. I asked him for access to the executive lounge since every time I've been to this Hilton or any other Hilton as a gold member they give you access to the executive lounge. He proceeds to tell me sorry you're just a gold member, you need to be an executive or a diamond member to have access to the executive lounge. I said every single time I've been here they gave me access to the executive lounge. He said sorry I'm not giving you access. This guy had me sitting in the lobby for 3 hours without checking in on me or updating me and then tells me I can't have access to the lounge because they recently changed the policy. And then tries to demean me and tell me I'm just a gold member? I asked to speak to his manager , he told me he was the manager , I said I want to speak to his boss , conveniently his boss is not available. This is just horrible customer service anyway you look at it. If I wanted to be treated like I was staying at motel 6 for $60 a night I would have stayed at Motel 6, not $350 a night at the Hilton. I currently book 30 to 50 nights with multiple rooms for my employees a year at Hilton around the country. I will probably be staying at Marriott from now on solely because of Bruno, the assistant manager at Hilton Rochester.

If you like sleeping on the floor then you will love it here. The bed is so firm it feels like the floor. Its awful!! Breakfast is over priced, dinner is good. Ordered the lemon chicken at the bar and it was amazing. Don't hurry yourself while your there, they act like they care, offer help but they do not follow through. Slipped while holding on to the rail getting out of the hottub, busted my head, big goose egg now on the back of my head, and hurts to walk due to so much pain in my left hip. No concern about the guest at all.

We stayed here during my wife’s treatment at Mayo Clinic and couldn’t have picked a better place. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the hospital, and the staff were always kind and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mayo Clinic.
