You're greeted and told you can ask for housekeeping. Well, you can ask, but it doesn't mean they follow through.
I needed to iron my clothes. The ironing board would only go up 18" off the ground. When I asked for a new board, they questioned me, like I didn't know how to put up a board. After the last person in that room used the iron/ironing board, housekeeping should have addressed the board then.

We used the event center for 125 guests on a Saturday afternoon. The venue is appealing and versatile. Jessica worked hard before and during the event to accommodate our requests and a few curve balls. While a few things fell through, the experience as a whole was good. The place is newly remodeled and is well equipped. We used their kitchen to provide hors d'oeuvres, which was convenient and professional. I didn't get to taste the food so can't comment on that. The manager threw in a room for nursing mother's at no additional charge which was appreciated.

I am staying at the Double Tree, long term for work, and the staff has been great. The young lady at the front desk, Evelyn, has been very friendly, informative about the local area, and helped facilitate me getting a microwave in my room. No microwave is OK for short term, but for a long term stay I need to be able to warm up leftovers and things like that in my room. This has really made a huge difference in my stay. I’ve spent thousands of nights in Hilton hotels and have come to expect a certain level of professionalism and care when I stay. This staff, especially Evelyn, has far exceeded my expectations.!!

We ate at the restaurant (did not stay at the hotel). I asked for suggestions which the waitress gave. It was very good. Food was excellent, service was excellent, chef came out to ask how the food was. Everyone was trying very hard to make it a great experience. They did a great job. I will definitely return to this restaurant again.
