    Had to ding 1 star because my flight was cancelled due to ATC and government employees not working and still had to pay for that night. Seems to me to be a corporate thing that should have been taken care of the day it was cancelled. Or the hotel itself could have take care of it. Makes me think Marriott for my 80 plus stays next year!

    Marnay W A excellent help I lost a item there and she searched for for three days until one of the housekeeper forgot they had it when they cart so when she had it in her hands, she called me and told me that she had found it and that I can come pick it up that is what I call true customer service went above and beyond to help me, we need more people like her

    We traveled to Michigan for a concert and this hotel was close to the venue. We downloaded the app and were able to go straight to our room BUT in order to turn on the bathroom light, guests need a physical key, so I had to go back down to the front desk to get one and had to wait in line since the lobby was busy. The app or email communication should make note of that to avoid this (relatively minor) inconvenience. All the front desk attendants were friendly, speaking to/acknowledging us when we came in. The Continental breakfast wasn't very diet-friendly, though. The oatmeal was disappointingly thick (not sure if it was because I arrived toward the end of breakfast hours), the orange was not enjoyable, and I decided against the preformed egg choice. I would definitely visit again - just not depend upon the breakfast selection.

    This was the worst hotel stay my wife and I have ever had. On the first night of our two-night stay, my son got sick in bed. We immediately let the front desk know and asked for trash bags and cleaning supplies so we could take care of it ourselves. They had none available. The young man working the desk was polite but clearly overwhelmed and said he had called management with no response. We ended up having to DoorDash trash bags and cleaning supplies just to clean up the mess. He did bring a rollaway bed, but it came with no sheets. The next morning, we reminded the front desk about the soiled bags that needed removed and asked again for sheets. When we returned later in the day, nothing had been done. I called the desk again and was told housekeeping had already left, but that they would throw away the bags. Housekeeping never came to our room at all during the entire stay. The front desk staff did what they could, but this was clearly a management failure. No guest should have to DoorDash basic cleaning supplies, sleep on an unmade rollaway, and beg multiple times for housekeeping just to get trash removed. Extremely disappointed.
