Location is good. Front desk staff nice.
Room had a few dirty spots but nothing horrible. Also the room has no safe which was a first. House keeping didn't come first day, so had to get some towels. The hott tub by the pool was out of service. Gym was okay but 1 of the treadmills was out. The breakfast price isn't worth it, plenty of close restaurants that are better to go to. No real perks of being Hilton gold.

The rooms have a weird layout. The ice machine on the fifth floor is broken you have to go to the fourth floor to get ice. You can’t watch tv because it’s always losing signal.

The front desk staff were excellent—professional, welcoming, and kind. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with two aspects of my stay. First, the lobby televisions were tuned to Fox News. The tone of conversation in the space shifted noticeably once it came on, becoming negative and divisive. It created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made me want to avoid the lobby entirely. Second, the room’s drains were problematic. The shower did not drain properly, leaving me standing in water, and the sink drained very slowly as well. Both issues felt unsanitary and detracted from the overall experience.

If I could give the hotel a lower rating I would as I had 2 problems at this hotel. I stayed at this hotel the night of July 19, 2025.
First problem: My wife had made the reservation for me and paid for the room using our credit card loyalty points. We have used the credit card (Chase Bank) loyalty points to pay for other hotel rooms including internationally and never had any issues. When I checked in at this hotel, the front desk clerk informed me that while they did have my reservation, the room was not paid for and I would have to pay for the room with a credit card. I tried to protest, but she said that the hotel had not been paid with my loyalty credit card points, and I would have to charge the room fees to a credit card, even though I showed her the confirmation email stating the room HAD been paid for. Since I had limited time to get to the event I was attending, I went ahead and paid for the room and decided I would take up the issue with my credit card company. After I returned home, my credit card company did refund my loyalty points, but this required effort and time on my part, and luckily my credit card company cooperated, since they could clearly see that I had paid twice for the same room (once with the loyalty points and a 2nd time with a charge on my credit card). My impression is that the hotel was fine with charging me twice for the same room.
Second problem: When I get to any hotel room, the first thing I do is to check the mattress to make sure the bed/room is not infested with bed bugs. This is easy to do by pulling back the bottom sheets and looking for stains on the mattress (google bed bug stains on a mattress). While I rarely find issues, I always do this to prevent bringing home bed bugs in my suitcase. At this hotel, while I did not see indications of bed bugs, the matress had a HUGE blood stain on it. The stain was so large, it was like someone had bled to death on the matress. I immediately took my suitcase back to my car and went to the front desk to complain. The front desk person was friendly and offered a different room (which I took and ended up being fine with a clean mattress) but the expaination was hard to accept. She said that the hotel was under new management, and that the only way the new management knew which matresses needed repacement was if guests like me informed them. I did not comment on her explaination, but this is a rediculous excuse, because any housekeeper/maid could inform management of a mattress issue after cleaning a room. So either this company has maids that don't inform management of these issues (doubtful) or management does not care to act on the issues.
Net result - because of these issues I was late for my event, and had to take my own actions to not get charged twice for the room and have a clean bed to sleep in. I will not be back.
